Also, if you ask me.. It's a part that makes an ugly bumper on a beautiful car even more uglyer haha! Put some 240-260 bumpers on there, yes it's not original but much more pretty! (I apologise if i went to far but it's just an opinion.. of a lot of members here..)

Hi Keith, To chance to get a 3011 lock is slim, you can use any good lock of a datsun like your lock.. you take it apart carefully with the chrome edge.. then you put the key you want to fit in it and look at those.. i believe 4 "plates that äre in it.. they have to be it the "flat possition but probably are not.. now you exchange these plates in a way that it is almost flat.. take your time and experiment with the plates in a different combination.. when you found a almost flat combi, take a grinder and make it flat (the key is IN when you do this!) when the cylinder is flat, take out the key and assemble the lock again! Now you have a lock that works with your key! Hope i explained this well, if not, just ask! 😉 anyway when you look at the cylinder when you exchance the plates from theire position always put the key in first.. and take it out for a different combination of the plates.

Both sides are the same as many have mentioned. Number 55 is just flipped from one side to the other. and while there were some changes all supersede to the one part number. I have some if you need one or want a pair, in Washington State. Shipping to IL will be something of course. Dave

Glad to help. Those sockets appear to be the same as what I used in my 260Z, which are compression fit. According to the parts manual, the tach part number is the same for all 280Zs. There is no difference between automatic and manual transmission cars.

There is a rubber O - Ring inside the silencer that slips over the pump interface, so should just carefully pop off. Hmmmm,———— wonder what a new one would go for on eBay?

I can try carefully to remove the filter. The pump is definitely seized. I don't know if you need any parts off of it. Anyway, I just want you to cover shipping.

Steve, that looks like one of the dedicated tools for crimping those fasteners, I'm sure mine cost a lot less, $6.00 at our version of Harbour Freight, PrincessAuto.

Do you have the cabin harness cover located in the passenger footwell (circled in red in the photo)? Also looking for a decent fuse cover from the passenger footwell also.

The casting number is on the skirt of the LH side. Harder to see under the intake and exhaust and grime. Some are E31 P30 N42 and F54 I think there was an E30 as well. @SkinnyPete I believe I have one, I will double check it this afternoon. I would have to look into the whole shipping thing. It's been outside and would need a hot tank, and bore. You just want a block and main caps right?

Care about marking on the handles? I have two of the ones on the right (double triangles) but only one of the other two types. At least in the "long lead" version. In 72 I believe they went to a shorter lead on the 6 pin plug. All of the short lead switches I have, have the markings like the one on the left (FLASH + two triangles and "look how bright I am" hash marks...;)
