  1. You also have a "Recirc heat" setting that CO doesn't have
  2. What kind of cost to paint a car like this?
  3. Looks like a nice clean desert car. Will be interesting to see how high that goes
  4. All things considered, I would say he is lucky to be alive. Especially from the looks of the car
  5. Got beer? Hate I couldn't make Toronto and catch up with the Canucks(?) then...
  6. What did you turn?
  7. @wheee! Download the p-sheets. It is a hybrid material. No isocynates so it should be a little safer. Be sure you have the correct reducer and don't shoot onto surfaces colder than 50 F
  8. I have always hated this reality. I wonder how many things the design team for the original 240 was able to stick too regardless and because of it they hit a home run?
  9. Unreal! When they sober up we'll talk. 5k!!! Insane!!
  10. An AC car. I would keep that even though you may not need it! If you go to sell it, it may help have a broader audience...As for the transmission. If it's a bolt on mod and easily reversed I wouldn't worry about it. Keep all the original parts....
  11. Beautiful and I really don't like white cars...
  12. I have had salvage yard refuse to sell the whole car. So I told them to cut it in half. I'll buy both pieces. Sometimes that works...
  13. I like the lines of the other car much better, more like an early Z...
  14. Thanks C
  15. I have this mustache bar out of the Z I am currently working on. I believe this bar is correct for the R200 diff's. Can somebody confirm that for me? I am going to rebush it but don't want to do it if it's not the right bar...
  16. I would tend to agree the car wouldn't really have any value unless it was a sub 100 car. One of the very early cars is being redone. It looked like swiss cheese when he started. Even a sub 100 car would be worth less than $2000 to me. You are really just buying the title and the vin plates at this point. You will end up replacing or patching 80% of this car...
  17. Maybe it has something to do with mirror coverage for the guy behind you and the likely location of the car behind you ???
  18. I think he was referring to the glass only. I agree, not much left. Maybe $200 of used parts...
  19. Sarah, It is nice to here from you even for this reason... Do you have a starting point for what you think the car is worth or what you want out of it? NA Miata's are a lot of fun. We had one. With a little more horsepower they would be hard to beat for the money
  20. I would agree that "bolt on" mods don't really count. The car in this add is toast! The firewall is rusted through. Hadn't seen that before!! If he can get $3000 or even half that I am sitting on a gold mine!
  21. So somebody either has really little feet or that is a big wrench...
  22. Come to Zconn in Austin this summer. Not that far away!
  23. I tend to agree with this. I have a make shift booth but I still get some trash in my paint and have flaws. I will probably cut and buff when I'm done which will remove most of them. It is just really hard to get great professional results in a small shop with out a good booth and high end paint guns...
