  1. That's not expensive...especially if you consider how long you have been chasing drive ability problem s and the associated mechanics fees!
  2. Anything less than six hundred miles is "right next door" for a Texan

Yes, this ought to help for a while. She was all grins last night when we went out for dinner... I don't know. That's a good question. We will blow through on the way to Texas. We do need to make it down sometime soon...

    Z you at Zcon
  5. That's a lot of money for headlight covers and 5 days to go...
  6. Glad you got it figured out...
  7. Sometimes they have a bore size cast on the side. I believe the stock is 7/8" bore and the ZX is 15/16" bore. Doesn't seem like much but the cross section is 15% larger
  8. The stock master will work but the piston bore is smaller, so you will have more pedal travel to move enough fluid for the larger volume front calipers. The ZX has a bigger bore so pedal travel is less to supply sufficient fluid. I suspect you have an adjustment problem. I would try to get the ZX master in and working at some point...
  9. My money is on a miss adjusted master not allowing fluid to return from the caliper You could test by cracking a bleed nipple on the front circuit to release any pressure and see if that helps
  10. I will chime in here even though you have wisely moved on. The black plugs in the door jambs indicate that the car has had an anit-rust treatment. The rustiest Z I have ever seen had these plugs...
  11. I have a set of those somewhere. They were on my first Z...
  12. Make it Thursday and maybe we can make it too.
  13. I was wondering that too. Might want to make some witness marks to keep an eye on it.
  14. Phillip, Call or text me when you get to Fredericksburg, so we can connect
  15. Roll call! So who's currently coming? I think we will come down for the day on Wednesday and we are at the hotel on Thursday and Friday night. We will be at my mother in laws in Fredericksburg the rest of the week @Zedyone_kenobi @240260280 @Zup @S30Driver @Captain Obvious ???? @siteunseen ???? @craZpaul @jfa.series1 @Marine240z Who else???
  16. I brought a surprise Z home once. It was in the backyard for about a month before she noticed...
  17. @nahurry Steve is a great guy. Get him to show you his museum quality restoration project while your there...
  18. I have also seen the small disc in the pump that act as valves stick closed which negates the pumping action
  19. How did you hold the crank still to torque the flywheel bolts?
  20. You can ship about anything on Greyhound bus lines. You won't get anything trying a reseller...scrapping it seems like a crime and at $4.50 a hundred you won't get anything that way either...

A lot of tools like compression testers are available on a rental system from the chain parts stores...

Thanks Hardway. My wife found it and was emailing them and I told her it was a scam. The whole sick veteran in Hawaii thing sends up red flags for me. Then the pay through a third party thing just confirms it. I guess they have figured out a way to scam the payment on Ebay motors now...You gonna be at Zconn since it's in your backyard?
  23. @annbrunetta So did you get it back?
