1970 VIN 0105 for sale on CL - hurry!
That's a rusty beast, especially for a California car. I assume it was near the ocean or came from another state. How high will it go? Does it make 40-50k?

Draw through carb turbo setup
With the rust in the cylinder bores, gaskets may be a waste of money. If I were that far in I would break it all down and at least hone it out and check or replace the bearings, but I have less time than I use to when I was younger. I don't like doing jobs twice

Mama's new Z
My oldest son has a 94' 325 iS, oldest daughter has a Z3 but is graduating to an M roadster as soon as it's finished and I have two late 80's 535's waiting for me in the wings that will become one car...

Z cars at the Concours
I don't remember when or where exactly I said it but I predicted 100k cars before too long. Less than a year I believe, sooner than even I expected

2 4 0 Z Uh Oh Project
I bought the Pro Shaper disc from Wray Schelin. The demo disc is so cool to watch, with a dolly, hammer and a shrinking disc he repairs a beat up fender to where all it needs is high build primer

2 4 0 Z Uh Oh Project
On the shrinking disc thing... I bought a set last week a 9" and a smaller 5" and used it some today. That thing is so cool! It works like magic. One minute you have a dent the next its gone. Probably no filler needed. Makes me all grins when I use it...

I actually light the factory side markers. They have never bothered me and I would hate to get plowed because I didn't have them...

ZCON Drive
I think we're in. We will have to get there from Fredericksburg but I don't think that's a problem

Mama's new Z
I was working out of town early on when we were married and Shelley's BMW Bavaria sprung a radiator leak. I coached her through it from out of town and told her where to take it. They wanted to know who took it out for her. She said she did it. I am not sure they believed her. She reinstalled it and burped it. Texans are tough...

Mama's new Z
We needed another car because one of my girls will be driving soon, so we got this. It will be Shelley's daily and it allows me to actually have a running Z... Win, win

when to replace SU CARBURETORS SM NEEDLES?
That's not expensive...especially if you consider how long you have been chasing drive ability problem s and the associated mechanics fees!

FS: Restored Inspection Light
Anything less than six hundred miles is "right next door" for a Texan

Mama's new Z
Yes, this ought to help for a while. She was all grins last night when we went out for dinner... I don't know. That's a good question. We will blow through on the way to Texas. We do need to make it down sometime soon...

That's a lot of money for headlight covers and 5 days to go...

Sticking Brake Calipers
Glad you got it figured out...

Sticking Brake Calipers
Sometimes they have a bore size cast on the side. I believe the stock is 7/8" bore and the ZX is 15/16" bore. Doesn't seem like much but the cross section is 15% larger
