Everyone who posts pieces of their life on Linked-In, Facebook, this site, and anywhere else on the internet leaves a trail of breadcrumbs to their home address, phone number, family members, shopping preferences, and more. It's not too difficult to find information on just about anyone. There aren't too many places to hide any more.

Google stock just jumped $245 a share in after hours trading. Great Q4 based on ad revenue.

I use a Google brand Android phone on T-Mobile's system. T-Mobile has a built in spam blocker so all I see is a screen that says "Scam Likely". I've never had a SPAM call get through on my cell phone but get plenty on my land line.

Less ethical would be my guess. As sellers, they must have had some success catching a buyer who doesn't do due diligence when searching for parts and price comparing. Either that or they don't really want to part with the parts. Experience tells me they just want to catch the random uninformed buyer and don't care about establishing an ongoing vendor/customer relationship.

Baking soda and water will neutralize the acid. Sand and repaint the rusted area and you're good for another 52 years.

If you look, again, at Charles' post you'll see that he didn't ask how much the Z cost, only a "Ballpark" number which could be something nonspecific like more than $20K and less than $50K without giving away too much detail. I also understand folks being touchy about what they pay for things. Play nice, move on.

My TRS-80 had no way to access the internet. But, that was OK because in 1983 I didn't know what internet or email accounts were. I could save programs on floppy disks that were floppy or on a cassette tape recorder. It was a simpler time. No cable TV, cell phone, satellite radio, or internet monthly bills.

Certainly not a Millennial, but I recognize it as the five piece version of my first computer which was a trusty TRS-80 dual drive like the one below. Bonus points to the Millennial who knows what "TRS" meant without Googling it.

With age, properly functioning emission controls and vapor recovery become more important. 😎
