  1. I have the complete pipe shown in that diagram from a 3/70 car. What do you need for pictures?
  2. The US 280Z (with air conditioner) shrouds are 21476-N4200 and 214777-N4200 for upper and lower per carpartsmanual.com The 79-83 ZX looks very similar but has the -P6500 suffix
  3. After Nissan changed over to the side vent they put the grommet in to fill the hole for the vent. I see it as 27035-21000 still available from Nissan. Number 71 in the diagram from Carpartsmanual Stock part for the mid 71-> 240Z's
  4. The Z car club of WA (ZCCW) will be in the car coral on Saturday. We mill around some. I'll be there.

  6. If it is the same as the US 280Z or ZX I have some of those. 2 piece plastic.
  7. Oouch, Looks painful. I do have the two pieces, they would just need repainted. I see a few that Zcarcrazy has sold on eBay and they all look to have been repainted too.
  8. Are you talking about the red handle jack piece? I should have one, if Jenny does not.
  9. A terminal cleaner set. The tweezer looking ones are for the flat blades. Innovative Products of AmericaHD Fleet Technician’s Electrical Terminal Maintenance SetComplete terminal cleaning kit for heavy-duty fleet techs. Restores electrical connectors like Deutsch, 7-way, ABS, Weather Pack & more.
  10. I never wanted ANY measurements, you did. "Next step" = Enjoy your car.
  11. Then you will have to use a captcha to prove to the bot you are not a bot to get to the parts dept.
  12. I read the instruction, you should have these instructions too if you have the sync kit. "More bending?" I have no idea as you don't show the measurement. "Leave as is?" I have no idea, you have to decide. "Problems?" I have no idea, There is a lot more to the car than just a float adjustment. In case you lost your instructions.....
  13. After all is cleaned and appropriately greased, the cog is turned to tighten until the shoe just rubs the drum. Steps 4, 5, 6. Then the E-Brake is designed to self adjust, but all that needs to work smoothly as well.
  14. I take a 14mm hex head bolt and lay it on the sync block and adjust until the fuel in the "straw" is level with the bolt head. Bend until that level is reached.
  15. The early cars had a scoop built in to the backing plate. but later flattened that out and settled on the ones you have now. The scoop might have been worse for catching rocks and debris. Trapping it against the disc.
  16. There could be 50 year old grease mixed with 50 year old brake dust in there which would restrict movement. Like Zed said you have to push the ratchet lever off the teeth as you turn it. It can be a bit difficult to move that way as well.
  17. My float sync instructions said 9/16"(14mm) from the top of the sync block to the fuel level in the tube. Keep adjusting until that level is obtained or it will not idle/run correctly.
  18. It could be either issue, the valve not sealing up or the float not rising, check both.
  19. From the 1976 280Z manual. Not a lot of help, kind of like the spindle pin "just pull it out" I kinda thought the hole would be around 6:30 ish. but not sure.
  20. Terrapin Z replied to Mike's topic in Shop Talk
That one goes right to the survey, so I took it. Thanks Mike.

The link takes me to their website, but I don't see any survey just a large discount ad. A pop up wanted me to sign up for emails is all. I have VTO's on my car.
  22. Still available from Nissan as well. 25251-37700
  23. Still just a mash up for all the S30 years to me. Angles.....
  24. The first are two 280Z towers, first a 78 and then a 75. They both have the single angle slope where the seatbelt mounts. The next set are both from 73' 240Z's and look just like the ones in the China car. Your early car pic's do look a little different with the 3 hole support.
