  1. One NOS new one on eBay right now $580 (your pic I believe) There were only two in the sold section, a lot more of the Temp gauges. I was thinking around $150 I saw a decent one sold for $130 ish. and a rusted one for $60.
  2. I have a volts/fuel gauge, I'm not 100% on what year but it looks the same as your picture. Small spot on 8V line I'll open it up if you're interested. Hard to get a clean pic of the face.
  3. Sounds like you sorted this out but it was my understanding that the +8 caliper was for the non vented stock rotor and the W was for the wider vented rotor. I have had mine on the non vented rotors for some years now and may recall incorrectly.
  4. I pulled the drip rails off a 78 and see the remains of 4 clips, one usable. Looks like they are prone to rusting out. The one did not want to come out either, I didn't want to cut the rail just for one clip.
  5. In my opinion, that pop out in the drawing is for the profile of the drip rail not the clips. I have a bundle of loose drip rails, and don't recall seeing any clips. I have some 280Z's that are still attached to the cars. I'll look at those.
  6. $40 shipped for this one if you're interested.
  7. That one looks like the bottom one in my pic.(off a 71). You see the top is flat across. There is a drop on the bottom The one in your original post was jogged upwards like the top one in my pic.
  8. Interesting, I have 4 different ones, the other one is the short shaft. In looking them up online, the pages all say they fit 70-78 ?? Yours looks like the top one, and that one I found listed online as for a 280Z. The bottom one comes up as the early 70-71 style. I can't even find the middle one. Maybe a Roadster or something other than Z. I did not look too hard.
  9. I bought mine from Dave years ago when he was still in WA. for my 6/70 and it works great.
  10. The steering wheel is later and the console as you mentioned. The post says he has some more duplicate extra parts. Not sure what parts.
  11. Oh great now I have to check all of mine. I thought the pockets were the change, but shape / length is another one. Interesting red and white are 1 month off the rest.
  12. Good question, It too much for me, plus I don't have room ......😉 It is really impossible to say without going there and looking at what is there, or not there. On the surface in this economy, I think it is a little high too. I see a lot of later year pieces in the car. The seller says he has other parts. There are a lot of unseen parts that go with it. I really don't think the "Now" seller knows as much about these cars as the brother / mother / dad?. It has been collecting dust for 23 years.
  13. Another early 1970 Vin 01115 up for sale near Portland OR. $8K https://corvallis.craigslist.org/cto/d/albany-1970-datsun-240z-series-jan-70/7682266894.html There are more pic's and Info in the ad.
  14. I checked eBay and found no N42 Non EGR's currently for say or sold. I checked some other individual sites and they all said sold out. 2040-parts.com list one for $500 but the site looks shady to me. Another on Instagram, also $500. beware of scammers!!
  15. Shameless plug 😎: I have a few manifolds if you end up needing another one.
  16. Yeah Harold is the guy with the parts. hopefully he still has it. It sounded like just what you were after and a decent price too.
  17. Just posted on FB.
  18. I checked the door I have from a 78 and there is no bracket in the door like the one's shown above. There is no glass in my door so I am uncertain if there is some bumper mounted to the glass frame / support. I would say the bumpers ZCD sells will not work in 77 - 78 doors.
  19. 1976 and 1971 respectively, I think I have a 77 - 78 door I'll look again. I know those doors were different in a lot of way from the earlier cars. It was noted in the other thread that it might be a typo in ZCD's description.
  20. My mistake before. The pad sits in the rear portion of the door. Slightly forward of where the the lock cut out is. There is a raised bracket that has a rectangle hole in it for the spring clip. I hope these pic's help. Pardon the rust.
  21. Without it I expect the metal frame on the lower part of the window would hit metal to metal. I'll see if I can get some better pictures after work today.
  22. When the window is rolled down the bottom edge sits on the rubber bumper. there is one on each side towards the front. Often the metal clip rusts out and it falls away from the mount hole. I couldn't find a good pic online either.
  23. I bought a case. Build date 03/23 😎
  24. I used a long wide, padded ratchet strap though the hatch. Soapy water, patients, and a helper to pull it back and get some screws in. It worked well and no scratches. Still not a fun job. (I did clean off all the old glue and debris off the frame.)
  25. If you are still having issues with the blinkers, The wiring goes through the hazard switch. You might want to clean that one too. Perhaps you already have 😁
