Hey, i have an L24 engine block. I know nothing about this stuff really. I want to get rid of it. I wanted to put it up on Ebay, but i have no idea how much this thing weighs. Anyway if anyone can give me any info on it, or maybe knows someone who wants to buy one or trade stuff for it, i would love to know. I deal in comics toys and cards...so this engine is of no use to me. I am in CA. So anyways please someone tell me how much it weighs and maybe how much it would cost to ship so i can get it up on ebay. Thanks, Shawn, Owner, THE UNDERGROUND

Question: How do you maximize rwHP with an L28ET? Current Setup: 72 240z with a 77 L28 with 240 carbs, header and HEI ingnition mod. It runs through standard clutch to a 5 speed tranny and into and a 4.11 diff (3.32, 3.54, 3.9 and 4.11 also available). Also Owned: '83 L28ET (complete) with 68k miles that ran smooth when removed. A 10 lb. Fidanza flywheel and A.C.T.performance clutch is already installed on the engine. A Garret T3/04E with 60 trim and .63 a/r with the HPC coated turbine housing is still in the box. So is the S.D.S EM4. To make this setup work, an old post says that I need the following: - Intercooler - Boost controller - 3" exhuast (Can I use dual exhaust…

HI all, I am looking fo a cable holder like the one in the thumbnail. It doesn't have to be exactly like this. Actually, what I need is the choke cable holder for twin Hitachis, as I am going to make the switch someday. The part is NLA and the one shown here is for the single two-barrel carb and accelerator cable. Any help appreciated.

I am after a GT-R replica that's hiding very close to Santa's factory, in Finland!!!!!!! Just in case I ever take this car down to my place, I am checking for engines options! I still have my 240Z engine, a L28 with the usual combo F54/P90/3 carbs… I understand that I would need to deal with the oil pan… I think I can do it but it’s not a bolt and run thing. So option 2 could be… A RB25 with… 3 carbs! You guys from down unda’ have anything like that on your roads? I think I saw this set-up one day on a Japanese web site but where????? I don’t want 400 hp but a strong 250 would be good enough for the old mule and in sync with the original concept.

I recently had the opportunity to run the C10 on Stewart Wilkins MotorSport chassis dyno. Racing 240Z's and Nissan L6's all over the place! Other than the obvious mods to the engine; triple 44 Mikunis Fujitsubo extractors and twin system lightened flywheel and/ or internals mild cam factory electronic ignition "Winged" sump (oilpan)* ..I don't know about inside as yet. Any and all mods were done in Japan by previous and unknown owners. It was sold at auction in Japan as having a 3.1 Litre (I.E.stroker) motor, I was told was done by Kakimoto. To drive on the highway, this motor seems torquey and willing, doesn't get hot and has never given any trouble…

240K AUTO TO MANUAL CONVERSION GUIDE What to do - and what not to do! Alright so today we had a crack at swapping the manual gearbox from my parts car 240K to my car which is currently auto. I decided to write this for two reasons - firstly to have a record of what we did in case I ever do it again and secondly to give you guys some tips if you do it... Anyway, firstly and definitely most importantly I'd like to thank some people. My good friends Steve and Victor for coming along to help with the whole thing and Victor's dad for lending us a big mother jack, tools and some jack stands. I'd also like to thank Peter (440K on these forums) for coming over on a Saturday …

Hey guys, OK so the auto to manual conversion is looming (I am planning 1st or 2nd weekend of January) and in preparation I'd like to gather up all the bits that I know I should buy/replace. So far I would consider: - Clutch - Spigot bearing (from Nissan?) - Flywheel (get it resurfaced somewhere probably the best bet?) - Clutch alignment tool (need to buy to put the clutch in properly, yes? Available from any Repco/Supercheap type store) Does anyone know where I should/could buy these parts from? I'd prefer good quality stuff - a meatier clutch if not too much more expensive too. I heard there was a good and cheap clutch man in Brisbane? Should I get anything else o…

My car has been reasonably trouble-free since I bought it, but one thing that continually seems to stuff up is the fuel pump. I've bought 3 new ones now... but it's having the same problem again. It's weird, I'll describe it. Upon starting the engine (seems to be the same whether its cold, warm or hot) the fuel pump will pretty much immediately start leaking fuel. I was told the first three times it was just a broken seal so I have just replaced it but come on, the problem must be originating elsewhere, surely? As soon as you start driving, the leaking stops. When idling at traffic lights or in a car park it seems not to leak either. Just on startup. Do you guys have any…
