Hey fellas! Been going through some of these posts...wow some are like 2-3years old.. Anyways maybe we are a couple of years more advance now and up to 10 or so people on this forum! I would like to have a 5x114.3 stud pattern on 24ok coupe. Is it as simple as changing the hub? What vehicle is a good donor? I would like an adjustable coilover set up for the front at least.. I'm very fond of the 32,33/S15 silvia etc upwards braking setup. As i use to have a 5stud coverted 180sx with 2way mechanical lsd, big turbo.. the works.. I have a set of very deep dished Work Equips from that car which i have been saving to put on a special ride like my present 240k. …

hello fellas... a couple of weeks ago i saw a 4door K (one those ugly ones!! *puts flame coat on..haha, is it still a c110? or are they c210? not sure as i don't really have much interest in that shape) at a scrap yard... anyhow i pulled the pedal box out of it. Now my question is.. will this help me with a manual conversion for my 73 240k coupe?? Also rather odd... was that it had a factory turbo gauge in the dash??? Did these come out turbo??? anyhow i'm a new owner of a K, have dreamt about owning one since 1988 as a teen but only now have manage to pick one up recently..and i'm keeping her forever and ever... amen! What other boxes can match up to the current…

Hello all, I was just investigating under the hood, and decided to take off the cam cover. I found that the cam had a stamped E30 on there. Anyone know why this cam is on a N42 L28? Doesnt this cam belong to a 240z? Also, I was wondering if anyone knew a way to check the liter of the pistons without taking the head off? I'm not sure if my engine has been bored to a 3L.

Hi Guys, hopefully someone here can help me out and save a few hours trouble shooting I am putting the GT together to send it off to Brian in the States. The car didn't have the engine in it, but i took the working L24 out of my black parts car and stuck it in the GT. The engine fires up beautifully when the fuel feed and return is fed from a jerry can, however when it is plugged into the proper lines, it sucks petrol, however after a short while it seems to develop pressure in the system and this prevents it from pumping more fuel, and eventually it dies. I have tried taking off the gas cap (no help), and also running the return into a jerry can (while retaining the…

Hi, Since I finished my turbo conversion, I'm having issue with my clutch slipping in 3rd, I've done some research and found that the 2+2 Z has a 240mm clutch, but since I live in Tassie, these would be harder to find that a 240K coupe, so what I'm after, are there any other Nissan / Datsun that has a 240mm clutch that will fit my 240K Nigel

It's quite interesting with these cars - we have one RB25DET conversion going on, a V8 monstrosity project, an SR20DET in the US and already one C110 converted to RB20 with triple webbers, among others... Quite a few different choices people have made! My engine is the original L24 still, and while it certainly sounds the part and goes alright it is getting a little tired and smokey. I'm on the verge of getting a full-time job which will change my lifestyle significantly and as such I don't really know what the future of my car is right now. What I do know is if I do get to keep it, I'll be swapping a different engine in. So I'd like to hear what you guys' opinions are on…

I am currently in the process of replacing my L28 N42 valve bushings. I was wondering, since I'm going to have the valve cover off, where I might be able to buy some new stock valve springs. Also, would I need to replace the valve cover seal? And, after I replace the valve springs, do I have to replace the valve retainers and lash pads as well?

Hi, another easy DIY, I brought this from Super Cheap ($15), it's a perfect fit, no screws needed, it just sort of 'clips into place' make sure you get a sealed type of radiator cap ($8), so the water sucks back into the radiator when it cools. Nigel

I have just ordered a radiator from Aussie Desert Coolers, the reason I mention this is that Norm (the owner) had just made a radiator for another 240k 2 weeks ago. It surprised me a little as usually when I order stuff I get the "I haven't seen/heard of one of those cars for a while" it was good to know that the aussie 240k scene is still going strong.
