A wreckers near me has an L28 in an early series patrol available , it's the short wheelbase version I think I saw its got an N42 stamp on the block but its missing the inlet manifold (sold) but everything else seems mostly there. My question is were the patrols injected or NA and he wants $500 for it, worth it? Personally I think he's at least $200 too high :disappoin

So since I'm a Gen Y person leaded fuel was before my time and I'm in need of some info for my 74 sedan can I put normal 98 in it or do I have to run lead additive ?

hi guys im chasing a mild cam for my l28 dose anyone no weather u can still get billet cam shafts or do u have to get the standard one ground .im looking on the net and not getting much info.id rather not have to change lash pads etc.any info would be great

hey guys im have a bit of trouble with finding the right tension setting for the conrods.ive got 1 book telling me that the l28 main and conrod tensions are the same and another saying that the conrod is lower in tenision.has anyone got the correct specs.its a f54 block.cheers

Anyone else thinking of going down this path? Seems an easy way to have a fairly new bullet proof LSD Tranny & Rear Diff Parts It's the ones from the Hybridz forums and Kev from JNC Hakosuka fame has them as well I'm thinking easy way to get a good LSD in the gearing i want (3.9)

I was just wondering if anyone knew if a Datsun 1200 Manual Pedal Box would be suitable for a 1974 240K? I'm wanting to convert my Auto to a Manual, and I'm unsure if these pedals will fit. Are the pedal boxes from dirrerent Datsuns compatible? Can they be modified to fit? I don't want to buy them and then realise they don't fit. Any help or advice is appreciated.

Anyone out there have any experience in the whole RB26 head / RB30 bottom end with trumpets??? Saw it in a mad Z in speed hunters and liked the look of it. Just want to know if its stupidly expensive. Been doing a bit of reading on forums so I kinda have an idea Bear in mind I reckon I can handle a L24 because I have a manual, but this would be WELL beyond me! Ideas???

hey guys, my dato is sittin in my shed fallin to bits, iv got an N/A rb30 that i ripped out of a vl, just picked up a rb25 head over the weekend, hope to be getting a turbo r33 5 speed plan is to mate all this together and throw the engine and gearbox into my dato, dont plan on doin a huge build body wise, jus want it do handle somewhat (shall be having a good read through the suspension threads) and have a bit of poke under the right foot my questions are 1. would anybody be able to give me some info on puting this engine into my dato, ie: what has to be modified to get the engine in, what has to be modified to get the gearbox in 2. im sure this would have been done befo…
