It’s just pressed in. Rotate left & right to break old paint and rust. After you’ve gotten it to some point of loose, continue the same motion and start pulling it away from the block. There’s a lip on the end of the tube. Not too large but enough for it to be a pain.

Vintage Rubber has a kit that’s really nice. Even has the factory type fuzzy material on the inside. Comes with the metal brackets as well with staples. Mine came in a full car kit.

Datsun spirit capped mine off with a freeze plug. You can either run a K&N filter attached to the valve cover outlet or run a hose from there to a catch can.

I do think it’s electrical heat related components within the ECU or ignition module. I’ll double check to see what I have.

BC coil overs with the “Swift” spring upgrade. They ride beautifully. Swift is a Japanese brand spring. Installed them on my S30.

In the mean time it sounds like that belt needs some attention as well. Good luck

There are people here that said they purchased a referb unit but never mentioned where they bought it. Best bet is to find a known good ECU from someone here.

I might have one as well.

Someone here on the forum must have a scrapped trans laying around. I’m not a trans guy by any means. But that sounds like it would be a rare item to replace, especially that many.
