  1. Are you looking at “carparts manual.com”?
  2. Those trays were built for a 24 series battery. Height and width is the difference. You probably have a 34 series which is shorter. Had to put a thin plank of wood under the battery itself on mine.
  3. Find as many Factory bushings that are still available. Try to stay away from poly IMHO.
  4. Not sure about mounting it that far forward upstream only for the reason Datsun did it for a reason and that was to solve a pulsating issue. Will that increase down the line I don’t know. Never have been one that might create another variable down the road IMO of course
  5. Why not just use another drive shaft that fit's?
  6. Probably a later model shaft. I have a 78 if you are interested.send me a pm and I’ll send it your way.
  7. Having a hard time understanding why they would rebuild a rack and not grease it during the process. Just can’t imagine how it has not been lubricated.
  8. I chose the Trophy because that’s what you deserve for being an educator friend. Congratulations Sir!
  9. Here’s the link to the valve. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08KVZT7P5/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
  10. @Av8ferg actually came up with the idea and I was able to enhance the theory of installing an in line shut off valve about 6 inches away from the supply line coming off the tank itself. From there we ran about another 4” of line into the tank pre-filter.” Wix 3003” from what I’ve found is the only filter that’s still clear and IMO is a better filter. From there straight to the pump inlet. This will allow shutting the supply off while doing routine maintenance on the fuel supply system. I will attach pics of what I have installed and is duplicated on ferg’s car. I believe the hiccup he ran into was buying a less expensive/quality valve that ended up leaking and permitted all the way to the 3rd floor. The wife was not amused! Sorry John had to add that tidbit!
  11. Awesome Mike!!
  12. For all you Father’s out there I hope you had a fantastic day. Both my Sons live out of state. Face time is a wonderful thing when they call.
  13. Just strange why it was removed, hardware missing. At this point no one will ever know.
  14. Maybe I missed something. I thought the ECU itself was not mounted to the body.
  15. @NocturnalEmber So the ECU has not been tied down since you purchased the vehicle? Pretty big clue someone has tampered in this area previously. With that being said at this point we’re not sure this possibly isn’t the original.
  16. The check valve for the tank vent is right in the middle of the cross member near the diff. IIRC.

I am Seriously Disappointed that you had only 15 Fan Blades in stock! Pick up your game a bit!! 😂😂😂
  18. Doesn’t sound like a fuel delivery problem. I would go back and double check every single harness connection and the contacts one by one. Take your time. Also the resistor packs next to the wiper reservoir. Those are a main connection to the voltage going to the injectors. Every connection needs to be very clean.
  19. Dropping down to zero psi IMO is not critical. After bringing my car back to life running very well, when I returned in the morning the pressure gauge would be at zero. When you turn to start position what does the fuel pressure read. Monitoring that while the engine is running will give you an idea where to look next . Please post back your findings .

Wrap the very end with Red tape so the next guy doesn’t jack it up

@kenward1000 I agree with @Zed Head can you give us an idea of you’re familiarity with a meter. This will give us an idea of where and how to diagnose. Starting at the source is key.

What is the voltage you are measuring at the relay from the fuse box?
