I need some help. I noticed that a diaphragm is missing its vacuum line. And I’m not sure where it is supposed to to go.

The only place I can see is this tee, but all the positions are filled. The one I replaced runs to the charcoal canister which I believe is correct.

Also need help with locating where the empty port on the charcoal canister goes.

Is this a California car?

The charcoal canister looks to be capped on the one you questioned. I also think the first one "anti stall dash pot" is just vented to atmosphere.

I drive a 240Z with carbs so I could be wrong😅

Many people get caught by the Sorry looking dashpot nipple.

I used "280Z vacuum hose route" then used the images.

If you add "classiczcars.com" in your Google search you will always find what you are looking for. Adding a members name, if you can, helps twofold in all my searches. It's helped me more than toothpaste.

Another way to get Google to search on this site is to include site:classiczcars.com at the end of the search string. When I'm searching the online parts manual, I put in site:carpartsmanual.com/datsun/Z-1969-1978 to narrow it down to Z car parts.

Those I do know about, there is also a link below the general results that will provide that filter. I use it a lot for Reddit stuff.

Terrapin's diagram looks right. The label that says CARB is for that plugged port. As I understand things non-USA cars still used carburetors. Maybe there's a hose for them.

Edit - and PURGE goes to full time intake vacuum. The larger hose with a nipple on the top of the intake manifold. The yellow dot goes to the ported vacuum port on the bottom of the throttle body. Which has a T that also goes to the vacuum advance canister on the distributor. Yours might be correct but people get them mixed up sometimes. Ported vacuum for the canister and the distributor.
