Two of my transmissions have an orange sealer between them. It's like a silicone product but I have know idea of a name, sorry.

  3. Youse too?
  4. With the choke pulled back and the nozzles dropped all the way my 72 doesn't need any pedal to start. I had a 240 that wouldn't crank right up when I first bought it. Adjusted the valves to spec and it would fire up instantly.
  5. You have a well thought out plan! Enjoy reading your post. I've always read CTS, coolant temp sensor, FWIW.
  6. Similar '72 from Auburn, GA on there too. $10,000 last I checked.
  7. Yes, welcome! You have a nice collection, your brother knows too.
  8. I thought the rhd had different stampings? Give them more time...? To the theme of Rawhide... "Trollin' trollin' trollin'"
  9. I was averaging 1,500 per state, with a grain of salt.
  10. There's 5 I can put my hand on in this one horse town. Three running and 2 that aren't. I'd guess half the total pruduction?
  11. Wow, you're absolutely right! He'd probably rather sign titties anyway.
  12. Me too! Cheap for 1/70 build date I think. Buy it. Safari Gold paint, one of my favorites.
  13. Looks like ZX tops. You should post at zcar.com. more zx owners there. Good luck.
  14. It's a pretty big job for a 240. You may just buy another car? I've never seen a new tank for the 240s and I've read from end to the other. There is a guy on ebay that makes an aluminium one for about $2,000.
  15. The same picture 12 times. I've sold a few cars and as easy as it is I take pics of everything, good and bad. My $.02.
  16. They easier to catch when they use a walker! Making them tricycle motors.

Me too! Also a bench grinder.
  19. I'm no expert but you've described what many of us have gone through with seemingly '77 & '78s only. The ecu needs a little help on the coolant temp sensor that adds more fuel. Google "fuel tweak classiczcars.com" and read a few threads. I had to do it to my '77 and the way I found my problem was to clamp off the return fuel line about half way, increasing the fuel pressure. It ran better right away so reported back on here and was told to try the potentometer add on. Car runs strong all through the rpms now. Here's what I followed... http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/tempsensorpot/index.html Thank you @240260280
  20. Fantastic job on this one, looks great! Will you use the rear louvers? I see you left the hinges, I have the same type hanging on the wall of my garage.
  21. Resident Parking at nursing homes...
