  1. Thank You! Now to figure out how to get it in a frame.
  2. Is there a complete image of this anywhere, anyone? I'd like to have one. Thanks.
  3. Except classiczcars.com! I've been involved in a few other forums for toys I've owned but just long enough to get the answers I needed. This is something different though. @Mike I especially thank you for what you have created here.
  4. Exactly right Zed Head. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-internet/u-s-defends-fccs-repeal-of-net-neutrality-rules-idUSKCN1MM242
  5. You are the MAN STYLE flywheeler.
  6. Another important spec is the actual pedal from the floor distance. Can't remember the inches right off, sorry but that may be something to measure before you pull it all back apart. The distance is in the FSM. Good luck. My aluminum flywheel was shiny as a mirror. Tifton or Tilton brand?
  7. We could go from "politics" to "insurance" and all that's been said would be the same.
  8. I'd take some pictures without so much light. It would look much better and I'd like to see the results. My $.02. Good luck with your sale! I like the idea.
  9. I've been selling a few things on facebook.com, trying to de-clutter. Good luck with that huh? Anyway I read something that was written by a 15 year old apparently but it made some sense to me. Let's see if I can recall the phrase, "the faker you are the bigger your circle, the realer you are the smaller your circle". I got a kick out of that. Looking at my phone, the RECENT CALLS goes like this, MOM...WORK...DAD...MOM...MOM...PAPA JOHNS. That's a whole weeks worth.
  10. What did you do with the cold start valve? Is it hooked up and fueling, could be a cause for the overly rich smell. Try unhooking it and see if things change, plug or clamp the fuel hose too. Good luck. You have a good helper already. ? Have you checked to see if the TPS is on the idle side? People bend those vanes and screw them up, it might have been rotated too. http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/tps/index.html
  11. According to Dorman's web-site this one fits. https://www.dormanproducts.com/p-102319-090-039cd.aspx?year=1978&make=Nissan&model=280Z&origin=&parttype=Oil%20Drain%20Plug EDIT: Whoa, Whoa!!! You're talking about the gas tank! I'm sorry.
  12. A welding rod for your conducting. EDIT: After all that practicing.
  13. You beat me to it! I was going to suggest a better pair of glasses. Be very careful out there young man.
  14. I haven't read all the post but I found my low float level after running up a very long and steep mountain. About half way up it started running on the back carb, half power. I cut the wheel and rolled it perpendicular with the road, cranked on it a few times and it cleared right up. Went about another mile, same thing. I went back down and it ran great the rest of the way home. After a week I had the floats set right and it runs fantastic now all the way to 6,000-6,5000 rpm. Sorry if already told this but it's the best thing I've done to my SUs. Cliff
  15. Me too! I'm sorry for the joking around but as Dennis says it rainy and cold out so that's my excuse, like it or not. Cliff
  16. The low hanging fruit metaphor plays here. Get the girl then go back for the better trained cop.
  17. One of my favorites without scene in question though.
  18. Here's a real life scenario that's funny. She gets out with her cell phone.
  19. Super Troopers? Dazed and Confused? Smokey and the Bandit, Buford T. Justice? Better of Dead? Slams into a car in front but not in reverse. So many stupid movies, so few brain cells! Good luck, sleep well tonight.
  20. Here's some good info I found with a quick google search. PPG color code, Sherwin Williams and Dupont from @Matthew Abate. https://www.google.com/search?q=918+formula+classiczcars.com&rlz=1C1BOFA_enUS494US494&oq=918+formula+classiczcars.com&aqs=chrome..69i57.15360j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
  21. That's a tough call. know the sticker says 918 but it sure looks like 110 to me as well. I bought some touch-up 918 off amazon.com and it matched perfectly. Here's some pics of the two I've owned, 110 and 918. 918 original single stage paint from '72 in different lighting... 110 original paint from '72...
