  1. Just saw this! Automatic Z with Jennifer Anniston's fine arse in it.
  2. Will it be at Branson, 2019? I have a nice door mirror if you need to complete.
  3. Me too! Invisible stuff that can kill you.
  4. If you get that p79 and shave it 30 thousandths then use the valves out of your n47 you would have a high lift cam ready head. Datdungarage.com tells about it but member extraordinare Diseazed does it to his 5 240s with great results. He runs SUs carbs though. Efi doesn't do too well with cut cams I've always read. http://datsunzgarage.us/p79/ Okay, once again my brain pooted. 80 thousandths off the bottom. Cliff
  5. I think that's a baja race car that was a winner and popular. Correct me if I'm wrong.
  6. I found the "modify" book to have the same stuff on the forum and internet. It's only $20 though but I've hardly used mine. It's a little too much for my taste, stock build with a little tweaking. You can find that on the www. The charts with lengths and weights are out there on the inter web. I could mail you mine but that would be about the same price as amazon.com. I bought all 3 when I was head over heels on these cars. Restoring, rebuilding and modifying. Tom monroe's has greasy pages. The other two are like new. My $.02 but like I said it's only $20. More to read on layovers. ?
  7. Webers are way over my head, duh. A slingshot is way over my head. The perfect screwdriver...
  8. That is my reasoning for hole #3 on the cam spocket.

Gave mine with the last Z I sold. No part number, sorry.

There's some Ford inner fender that's close, a littile too large but they'll work. Ebay has 50 for about $10 or so? @gwri8 @SteveJ turned me onto them.

Panty hose and a vacuum. That sounds like a young mans first girlfriend.
  12. If he goes off the reservation and buys a rotisserie the "jig" is up, sideways and upside down.
  13. Good read for your layovers. I read it a couple of times and used a highlighter on what I thought were important details, and they were. He doesn't get all technical and keeps it simple. I think he's from the South. Look at the hair do on the guy vatting the block.

6 penny finish nails for me. Then when I buttoned it up for the last time I bought those high dollar Nissan rivets. A lot of trial fitting was done and removed using those nails. Or #4? It's been awhile.

Still available from Nissan. The smaller ones behind the tag also.
  16. Can hardly wait to see more of this!
  17. That's a two way street in my experiences. Yard sales, I get a phone call. "I've found a fantastic deal, can you bring your truck?"
  18. Those fuel level sending units on 240s are a pita to get wired back up. Nail head connectors is what I've always heard them called. When you do get them back on slather them with liquid electrical tape. If you ruin the OE ones you can use female spade wire connectors.
  19. I'd love to build a framed up motor holder with a lawnmower gas tank and radiator to run motors out of the cars. That would be easier for the carbed motors than efi.
  20. He said his parents had a barn...? I have an 8x12 storage building from floor to ceiling packed with all things Z related. It does have a spare refrigerator with all my electical stuff crammed in to keep the humidity/moisture out. Learned that from a welder. You can "pay it forward" & trade stuff over the years. You realize this is more than a hobby right? You've joined a community now Sir.
  21. Welding wire works good to run through the lines and vents to make sure they aren't obstructed. Follow up with a good compressed air blow job. 8^)
  22. Yes the heater core valve and hoses may have been the biggest pain for my 240. It took a lot of "chemicals" for me personally. If i do it again the passenger's seat will be taken out for sure.
  23. That's the p79, no? It's got an oiler cam already. You need the to keep the laughing one your garage. it says!
  24. If you can smell that chemically smell of the tank liner wait until you can not. That's when it's cured and ready for fuel.
  25. That's Red-Kote tank liner. I coated both mine with it and it works great, one in 2011 the next 2015. I wouldn't waste time or money on the outside of your's, it looks good to me. Get your evap hoses replaced and let it go. To have a visual put a glass fuel filter before the fuel pump.
