  1. You almost got it!
  2. Yes, glad the kids are okay. Car looks fixable on my monitor but you know better than me. Sorry buddy, you are a true classic kinda guy.
  3. R180 on the left, R200 on the right. https://www.lainefamily.com/240Z_V8_Conversion-files/240Z_Conversion_Differential_Driveshaft.htm
  4. Everybody I know is going to the tankless instant water heaters. When mine goes bad that's what i'm getting.
  5. The B type from a 280Z.
  6. That's Honey Boo Boo's car!
  7. The lower geared r180 is square looking. Taller r200 is more rounded. I put a wide 5 speed with the oe r180 and really like it. 70 to 80 mph on the interstate is 2,000 to 2,500 rpms. That's the only time i use fifth. It's like having the oe 4 speed around town. Great looking car btw. Glad you joined the forum. Lots of info and even more nice folks. Cliff
  8. That's Ellie Mays husband. Imagine what Mrs. Drysdale thinks about that yard?
  9. It's a beatiful but quick dance you have to do but so much better than a radiator shops do. I honestly believe the week of natural curing is the best.
  10. No https://www.google.com/search?q=240z+280z+gas+tanks&client=ms-android-americamovil-us-revc&prmd=sivn&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjp8OGquZ7iAhXJct8KHcTIB7cQ_AUoAnoECA0QAg&biw=320&bih=449
  11. File that end off that doesn't go into the hole on the cars side. O into a D and they'll drop in. If I'm thinking what you're saying. If not I'm arse-suming.
  12. Found it...
  13. Same problem with the mounts here too. I ground mine down to a half circle looking pin. There's enough in the hole to keep them in place. From what i read the mounts now are all universal and work fine on 280s. 240s need some massaging. Mine were Beck Arnleys. Good luck.
  14. I haven't done this, I run just a mechanical pump but it's a good read. For some reason I'm thinking @Jarvo2 made a change or two though to something better? http://jarvas240z.blogspot.com/2013/01/electric-fuel-pump-installation.html
  15. My favorite is CantechZ's. A bunch more here... https://www.google.com/search?rlz=1C1BOFA_enUS494US494&ei=H0HcXJOqDI6Y_Qb3loT4Dg&q=cantechz+hubcap+classiczcars.com&oq=cantechz+hubcap+classiczcars.com&gs_l=psy-ab.3...24018.24018..25642...0.0..0.111.111.0j1......0....1..gws-wiz.xo5NNLcslzM
  16. Where the Bumpuses Italian? That crate was!
  17. When you google always add "classiczcars.com" at the end and you'll find what you need. Our past threads will show up, you'll get your answer then. Best of luck!
  18. Happy Mother's Day. I'll keep trying to make some mother's! A man's work is never done.
  19. That's adjusting on the "fly" right there. I love these old cars.
  20. Sad but true. No buses or taxi service around here. If it'll crank and roll you're good to go.
  21. I found a rechargeable First Alert, all metal that fits perfectly in the bin behind the passenger's seat.
  22. Deep down South but they may have the hood? https://www.resurrectedclassics.net/
