  1. the valve train looks modified too. Might want to check lift and duration on the cam. It may be toast from corrosion but the base circles look smaller than stock...
  2. You make me feel soooooo sloooowwwww!!!! Looks great!

We took the bulbs out on the drivers side entirely. So that should eliminate an issue of the wrong bulb in the wrong socket. There was a duel filament bulb in the taillight. You know, we had the signals sorted after you came up the last time and now they don't work. My assumptions were: bad signal switch, bad hazard switch or bad grounds. I had thought I would unplug the signal switch and jumper the left turn signal and see if works correctly to try to narrow down the problem...Any issue with that?
  4. If I can find my set of factory bushings I can post up some dimensions

    @SteveJ
  6. What Satin black did you use? I don't remember seeing that mentioned...
  7. I emailed David Here is the response I searched all dealers, and there are no dealers having them on their shelf. Sorry, we can not get them. My Response: Thanks anyway. Is there a way to suggest to Nissan they need to make a run of bushings the way they do for lower control arms? Thanks, Charles The answer: Seems like it is random how Nissan decides to stop making a part. Some parts are still being produced, like wiper blades and interior rivets. In general, parts for the S30's are getting scarcer and scarcer each time I check. S130's are the worsts as far as parts availability. Does anyone here have some connections at Nissan who could try to get this part number on a list so they will make a run of these? Maybe the larger rubber washer's too...
  8. Black is a hard color to do because the metal work has to be spot on. Black with red interior could be cool, I can't image white will stay pristine for long. If you're gonna sell it, a factory color combination is probably the wisest
  9. Beautiful place. Love the live oak and the slide. The water has to rise a lot to get over the wall much less to add 7' of water to the yard!!! I don't know that you noticed but I live in the upstate. I had a few friends that got hammered the last time we had all the flooding in the low country.
  10. I agree with some of the others. Tony D can come across badly at times, but I believe some of that happens to be the limitation of the forum as a medium. As I have seen the same happen here at times. He is very knowledgeable and has years of experience. There is a wealth of information on the site and much of it is very good and very technical. It would be a shame to loose that. I don't visit there much any more unless I am looking for something very specific because they can be quick to flame noobies or those that don't exhibit some level or having searched for the answer first. Derek's siamesed head is only one of many examples of the amazing info there, custom intakes designed with flow software, brake upgrade FAQ's, etc.,etc. That site fills a different need than this site but they are both full of valuable information
  11. Cool. You going back with the original yellow?
  12. Cool! Now you need to get a bid together for Zcon 2019!!!!
  13. Very cool. We have thought about bees for the same reasons as stated above plus we have tried to get away from processed sugars
  14. Beautiful collection! Love the selection of Porsche's. I suspect your estimate was low and you appear to live near the coast since your house is elevated. Be sure and keep them all properly insured against flood damage. It would be a shame to see them get damaged and then take the financial hit too...

Well this is where we're at: With everything plugged in, in left turn all the exterior lights blink but only the left turn on the dash blinks. We unplugged the front left turn signal, both rear brakes lights still flash when the stalk is on left turn, but the left turn still blinks properly With the front signal unplugged and the left rear bulbs removed the right turn still blinks in the left turn position. If the brake is pressed in any of these positions the brakes lights quit blinking and become solid
  16. NLA, very hard to find NOS parts. I am hoping one of the larger vendors or even Nissan themselves will make a limited run of these. The last set I bought came out of Japan
  17. I agree with gwri8, a good paint shop aught to be able to get pretty close on color. They can even adjust for fading of the original paint
  18. All of the above is good information. As you are in a very hot climate you can afford to run a little heavier oil than the rest of us. I hate that you hatch is "bruised" the way it is. It can be easily salvaged. If you don't have the skills, a local body shop can surely get the dented area right.

  20. Very cool. Racking up those FF miles I see...
  21. Not enough fuel or lack of spark. You just installed the Pretronix? Did it run 80mph + before the Pertronix?
  22. I like that wagon!

@SteveJ We are having a new turn signal problem. If the right turn signal is on it flashes properly with the brake lights on or off. If the left signal is on all the lights flash like the hazards are on and if you step on the brake they become solid (no flashing). anyone please feel free to comment...
  24. Looks like a nice machine though. Stupid hot here right now. We have been out framing in it...
