  1. You're through paint, which is the hard part. Maybe it will get easier from here. Did you find new crenelated mustache bar washers somewhere?
  2. Hadn't heard that. Too bad...
  3. The plates in the door jamb are riveted. The one on the shock tower uses small screws. I think its best if they go back this way. PM an address and I will drop you some
  4. @Mike I have a box of pop rivets that should be correct for the door plate. If you would like some...
  5. Horsepower Heads appears to do some really cool stuff!
  6. That's some cool head work! Hard to find people who can handle that kind of work.
  7. I would say two owner cars are getting very rare. I would start with a whole different engine and set the numbers matching engine to the side. Get an L28 motor and tweak it a little bit.
  8. Did you do the mods on the OBX?
  9. Welcome, it's a nice looking car!
  10. If the belt has any real wear, replace it. That's cheap. Then check the battery voltage with the car running and report back Check the battery voltage before starting the car and then after.
  11. Guy, your original halfshafts appear to be in really good condition. Were they exhibiting any symptoms?
  12. If I had to guess $600-1000 depending on condition. Most of the hoods I see for sale are about $300. So I doubled that and went from there. I don't know that I've ever seen an early hood
  13. Thanks. It's about time to post an update as it is slowly moving again.
  14. Still beautiful though!!!!
  15. When one of the brake circuits (front or back) fails, there is a piston in there that slides and illuminates the brake light in the speedometer
  16. That's a shame. The last clear glass I saw discussed was in the $2k range. So the glass alone makes the car appealing to someone who has the right car needing parts. @hiyabrad It's a long way from you but it may have something you want
  17. In here somewhere. Probably the last few pages
  18. I get it and have started browsing for a 260 or 280z that I could run and modify, but I agree with Mike. It's only a matter of time for the 260 & 280 start appreciating in this manner.
  19. I have pictures in my build thread of working on a 240z rack.
  20. I am not sure it is a "complete random blip". Will be interesting to watch future high value cars. By the time I get my car done and running it will be too valuable to drive!
  21. Yes. That sounds great!
  22. I was hoping to spark some interst in them for you
  23. I don't go on Facebook but Shelley does, and she has been really successful at finding parts for sale for me. Many of which don't show up any where else. I find their marketplace hard to search and with poor results. The few times I tried a few searches, I quit in frustration. I do agree though it appears the trend is towards more use of Facebook for selling parts and cars.
  24. I didnt think those were "240z's" I thought they were some other variety
