My brake light is on and I’ve disconnected the parking brake switch. Based on the service manual the proportioning valve switch must be on but I can’t for the life of me see an electrical connection to it. What am I missing here? It’s the valve on the firewall with the four hard brake lines right? Driving me nuts!

Does anyone know of a more detailed wiring diagram for the blower fan and switch? I found this one but it's too basic, there are 6 wires coming from the switch and I need to trace them down. The car previously had A/C and I think the wiring harness has been modified. ColorWiring240Z-1971-USA-Early.pdf

I'm putting together an order from Eastern Beaver for some electrical terminals bits and pieces. Anyone interested in tagging along and putting stuff in on the order? I'll send you your parts once the order arrives on-shore. Domestic shipping should be cheaper than the shipping from Japan. Their shipping isn't fast, but some of the stuff they have is really hard to find elsewhere. https://easternbeaver.com/Main/Main.html Some examples:

I have 3 sets of wiper mechanisms on the bench. I finally decided I would rebuild them and plate them since I have some other items that need to go to the platers. Since I didn't know of a comprehensive rebuild thread on CZC I thought I would make one I did the break down today So you need to be sure on reasssembly that it looks like this or you're gonna have problems!! I started on the single pivot end The little clips aren't spring steel. The bend open. I might go back with snap rings on reassembly Then the felt. I am working on replacements for these Also shows the rubber seal that is on the face of the wiper pivot …

There are three of them, one on the distributor, one on the coil and one near the alternator. There is a new alternator coming with an internal regulator, the spark is going to be handled by a Pertronix II unit and the spark plugs are NGK BPR6ES, do I need them? Thanks

Who here knows the proper title given to the circuit board that s30 ZCAR headlight and turn signal switches use in their switches? This would be someone with a command of ZCAR esoterica and sadly, most of those guys are passing on. I miss them.

Hey gang, So it's time for a new battery - my Interstate MT-24 from 2018 has thrown in the towel. Should I just get another one of those or is there a commonly agreed upon better one to go with, without breaking the bank?

Hi guys, I hope to get some help-- I did some searches most of which led me to various articles in this forum, and the info was really helpful but I still have some questions. Background: Been restoring a 72 240 for close to two years, working on the electrical now, I am replacing almost all of the wiring with a generic painless-type harness, and have been using deutsch connectors for added reliability and weatherproofing. I have some questions on the combo switch. The circuit diagrams I have seen seem to indicate the red wire is what brings 12V to this switch for the headlights. I am far from expert, but when I open the switch up, that seems wrong. If you look at t…
