  1. Hokes Bluff junkyard has at least 2 MNs. You drive down 411 and they're 15 or 20 minutes off your route. You could leave them at my house at pick them up on your way back. I probably would have something for your back too.
  2. California Datsun motor, that's the problem and most likely Jorge has had this problem since day 1. My opinion from all I've read over 10 plus years about California Datsun. He sold a motor to a dude in Panama. No chance of any blowback. No shudder here Mr Maras.
  3. I've got a year to decide but I'm pretty sure my '77 will be for sale at zcon 2022. I want my garage work space back!
  4. You're the one with sunglasses, right? I've seen CO. He's the bearded fellow. Hell, I've ridden around Road Atlanta with you. I know C.O is the handsome bear behind you.
  5. September or even better October are really good down here. No humidity no hot temps. The time falls back at the end of October so let's hope it's before then. I wear shorts until Halloween and maybe even closer to Thanksgiving. Southern hospitality is gonna be great! I know the hotels that rent by the hour. Great food just like Memphis and Atlanta. Wayne you know you can stay at the liquidanb.
  6. ... a hybrid wins 2021 24 hours of Le Mans. https://www.24h-lemans.com/en/news/toyota-triumphs-in-the-2021-24-hours-of-le-mans-55530
  7. If they do track day at Barber's Motor Sports you all are in for a treat. That's a great road course built in the middle of Augusta Golf Club, without those pesky 18 little holes. It's beatiful!
  8. Yay! They'll be driving down highway 411 from the North. 2 blocks from my house.
  9. I have 1 round cut out of my fronts with stock struts. The previous owner did it but I like it and the stance is nice. Handles good. Not too rough through the steering or the seat. Cheap way to lower one I've always heard.
  10. The '75s and '76s have the outward profile where my '72 and '77 are the indented style. I hope I'm describing that correctly? Thank you for replying.
  11. Just saw this article. https://www.foxnews.com/auto/nissan-z-sports-car-designer

I learned to have them checked right out of the box, before I leave the store. Burn me once, shame on you. Burn me twice, shame on me.
  13. I was referring to the horn button. Looks similar to the '75 and '76 280's to me? Those LED gauges freak me out when they peg out then come back down when you first turn the key on.
  14. I'll share a story about my Dad, RIP. He never used a torque wrench or impact, just a 24" x 1/2" breaker bar and his brute gorilla arms. My younger sister and my step monster had flats over the years but could not break Pop's strength loose. Had to call roadside assistance everytime. He taught them how to put on the spare but couldn't make them as strong as he was. Me on the other hand was a touch smarter than those girls and used the scissor jack and the opposite weight of the car to break them loose. Needless to say I was his #1 son. To add context, my Dad worked for 40 years at the local Goodyear plant. He rotated all of our tires once a month just for the fun of it.
  15. And you finally found a Datsun 240Z mechanic in Panama! Congratulations, don't argue with him and maybe he'll get you straightened out. Good luck Jorge.
  16. They're cheap now that they bluetooth to a smartphone. I still say lack of spark to #4. Don't you have some kind of aftermarket ignition?
  17. I'm the 55th poster on getting a keyed lug nut off. That has to be some kind of all-time record.
  18. You can remove that piece above the wiper motor and blow that drain out with air. A bunch of crap will come out. Then stick a hose pipe on it to make sure it's no backup, restrictions in there.
  19. I mamed my dog from this.
  20. I am probably the one that told you to pull it off. My car does good without all that stuff. I might need some blue garden hose though.
  21. Boy oh boy did I have a time with my engine block! It looked good to me but the photos I posted looked way off. If you like it that's all that matters.
  22. I could dig out and reinstall the original parts and get somewhere around $39K for mine I think. Hagerty guy from Birmingham appraised it at $40K a few years ago after looking at it.
  23. I've blessed mine in ways I'm sure aren't very Hindu.
