@sweatybetty @Captain Obvious Could you guys give me a rough capacity level for the coolant on the heater core? It's a 240 if they're different sizes from the 280s. I was pretty scattered but I think it held close to a half a gallon. That's hoses and all. It ran close to fifteen before I put the cap back on to build up some pressure. No leaks and the gauge was where it always is. Does that sound about right? Thanks for any replies/help.

I'm thinking off adding something like this in the inlet/supply hose off the cylinder head, like you guys did. It'll be for keeping the coolant from going into the heater core and no pressure on the heater valve. The heater valve I bought from Nissan has a plunger with rubber around plastic. Looked a little rinky dink to me.

My Dad made my sister change a flat before he let her drive. Mother thought that was cruel and unusual then my sister fixed her flat when nobody else was around. My Dad got the last laugh on that. 8^)

I used blue layout dye on my thermostat housing and top half where the hose goes. Where the hose goes? To the hourly hotels.

Make sure the front and rear ends aren't bent inward. Both mine were so I'm guessing it's easily done, maybe on vale adjustment? One more thing to check. See if they will twist in any way. You'll need to get the connections re-brazed. One or two? more things. Buy gasket material and make your own, much thicker and better to me. I used drill bits to make the holes, small first then go bigger. Cut the gasket sheet to size and and put it against the towers holes then tap around there with the round end of a screwdriver handle to make indentions in the paper then cut and drill the holes exact. Worked for me. Glue the gaskets into the spaces of the spray bar with Permatex Aviation gasket maker. Let that dry overnight and you are good to go, no worries for years.

That is really nice! I use a small Bluetooth speaker with my phone now and it does pretty good for a rechargeable speaker. Now I know about your amplified audio box and being able to wire it in with the battery with mounted speakers too. Thank you for posting, I had know idea about those but like using my phone for the source, simple while keeping my OE radio that I just put back in. I think I'd rather be hit in the head with a baseball bat than install another unit. I was getting a plan together for putting one in the glove box but not anymore.

I'm mistaken and sorry for that but it's been over my minds time limit. The head bolts don't go through the towers I don't think, the line up dowels do. Again I'm sorry but I have early onset of dementia. Too much sun has fried my mind like those eggs on the drug commercials.

The paper gaskets between the spray bar and towers could have moved and blocked the flow?

The head bolts go through the far left holes in my picture. The cam tower bolts go through the two that are in line with each other. The oil feeds are the smaller holes to the right. Hope you can understand my backwards arse thinking/splainin'.
