  1. @Mike I assume only the original poster can see the "sold" button?

Where in Dixie? Is that your split window bug in the background?
  3. @SteveJ The valve cover looks good. Are you ready for me to ship you one yet?
  4. I have mixed emotions about this. I am a big "personal responsibility" guy but the management had to know that poor desperate people would make questionable decisions. I think as a business owner I would feel really bad if someone ruined their body for $60....
  5. The last picture showing the radiator hanging down is behind the air dam, with the stock valence a lot more is exposed...

I think Redbird has a similar problem...
  7. Be careful of the height on a replacement radiator. If it sticks up too high it will contact the hood. If it hangs down too low, it can take a rock if you don't run an airdam...
  8. I don't know off the top of my head. An aluminum 240 radiator might fit. Best idea is to get some dimensions from a vendor and see if you think it will fit
  9. The 280z radiator is bigger if I remember correctly. You will need to make your new rails match the shape of the old rails
  10. Jai, Miracles are good...
  11. Piece of 4" PVC?
  12. How did he make the curved upturned edges? Metal shrinker?
  13. Happy Thanksgiving Jai I am glad you are still having fun in your car I am thankful for my family, all good, all healthy and plenty of work for my business C
  14. I would think that is a typo, $14k maybe???
  15. A twin turbo 300zx is a really challenging car to work on. Really packed in there....

The tubes on the exhaust manifold are for the smog pump. They can be deleted as long as you don't have to pass "smog". Sometimes they can be threaded out and a brass plug threaded in but sometimes they won't come out. I have actually filled some like that with JB Weld and that worked fine. The rusty exhaust manifold would clean up with bead blasting. I like the mechanical fuel pump, keep it if you can. There is a thread on here somewhere that tells you how to rebuild a mechanical fuel pump.
  17. How are you knocking the welds down? Flapper disc? How did you remove soot? Buffing wheel?
  18. The dash looks good. What products did you use?
  19. I would love to have an early to mid 80's 911. One of the best handling cars I have even driven, if you can avoid the "snappy" rear end. Those cars are quickly becoming unaffordable, but the real deal killer was the $900+ clutch kits, etc, etc. The parts to keep a Porsche running are just silly expensive, and if you can't do the work yourself add $90+ an hour for labor. If you keep looking you can find a nice Z car for the money you are willing to spend. I agree you should enlist help from the forum if possible to check out cars that are not local to you...but if you find a good deal (verify) don't hesitate it won't last
  20. Love it! Cody does too but it exceeds our piggy bank funds. Really cool rare Datsun
  21. 2nd Fedhill! You can rent their flairing tool too if you can't justify purchasing one...
  22. I would add Charlie Osbourne to that list, for floor boards
