I am not sure I would have to pay the fines in South Carolina. Interesting thought though. You can apply for a title for any car older than 30 years if it hasn't been titled in our state previously...

Changing of the Guard
Yes ZH that is the article in the copy of Hemmings I have. I think speculators and car flippers are always looking for the next collectible car. I wouldn't be surprised if that is part of the recent rise in Z prices, especially after Mr. K's passing. Ferrari prices went nuts after Enzo died. As anecdotal evidence the Z's I see on dealer sites bring amazing money and most of those are going to be put back out for sale

He is in civil air patrol and really likes it. He is over 6' at 16 and I am 6'-5". I don't know that his heart will be broken if he doesn't fly a fighter. He just enjoys flying...

Wideband O2 Sensor
Many new cars have them in the down pipes before the cats. Some vehicles have three. One on each bank and one behind the cats. It shouldn't matter on the cylinder count. The sensor doesn't know the difference. If you can find one in the down pipes you may be able to remove it from under the hood instead of trying to get under the car in the JY

1970 240Z HLS30- 06026 For Sale (original)
No, not offended ZH. I guess part of my point is we really know nothing about this person, partly because he is new. He may be broke, he may not be. Also I wouldn't consider leaving 50% on the table squeezing a deal. $500, $1000 maybe... I would have real reservations about feeling like I took advantage of someone. That's partly what struck me all wrong about the video link we had a while back about the TV guy buying the yellow automatic that he wanted to flip. He beat the guy down on price when he knew the original price was more than fair.

Front injector bank not firing (1976 280Z)
Core charges are a problem for some and not for others. The core charge could be $2000 and I wouldn't care, if I needed the part. It will go on my credit card and I will very promptly return my core with insurance in this case. The $2000 will never leave my pocket and if I'm quick enough no interest either...

1970 240Z HLS30- 06026 For Sale (original)
I like to see the win-win. If the car is worth 15k and he sells it for 13k great, everybody is happy. If the car is worth 15k and he sells it for 8k he took a 47% hit. One's really happy and one got taken advantage of. If it was Jai selling Redbird and she offered her car at a 50% discount would we be supportive of somebody taking advantage of her ignorance. Would we fault her for re-evlauating since she lives on limited means and the difference in cash would be huge to her....

Why use a Z car as a sign of danger in an add?

1970 240Z HLS30- 06026 For Sale (original)
I have sort of stayed out of this discussion but I tend to agree with @rdefabri if someone is ignorant of a fair price and then reconsiders their asking price, I don't hold that against them. Why should they hurt their family for a complete stranger, that may or may not complete the sale? The OP mentioned something about college tuition at some point. Also I take some of the "I'll take it" like I view everything on the internet; not a done deal until it's a done deal. People back out on Ebay sellers all the time after they agree to buy a car and that's with Ebay to try to help prevent that. What is the difference between a seller not completing a sale versus taking advantage of a sellers ignorance to the tune of 50-80%? To me it is merely perspective...

Wideband O2 Sensor
Good luck with vise grips. Oxygen sensors can become very stubborn from heat and sometimes rust. They make special wrenches for them but you can probably come up with something better. I would try open/ boxed end wrenches or even a large adjustable wrench. Then would go to channel locks before I went to vise grips, leverage is your friend...
