Hey there Guys, I know this is in the 240K forum but it's irrelevant I imagine... I finally got the tranny swap all sorted and it's all in and bolted up, the shifter is in perfect position however... I can't find any info on wiring in regards to the starter. I searched the forums and nothing addressed the problem other than a link to zhome which partially helped out in possibly clarifying what I thought the problem was. On an auto there's a mechanism to stop the car starting whilst it's in gear. How do I sort out the wiring now that there's no stupid 3 speed auto on there anymore.. My poor car, she's sitting on ramps and just needs to start.

hi I noticed last night when I was driving another car and following my 240k the brake lights goes off when braking Headlights on 4 rear round red lights are on but when braking ride hand side brake light goes off but left side brake light works fine. any ideas? checked fuse checked bulbs all seems to be fine

Hi I'm having engine hesitation its very obvious when engine's cold when the temp gauge/water gauge is somewhere on the middle area its seems ok but still does it if you put your foot on the accelerator pedal quick like take off at the trraffic lights. I got new spark plugs carb was rebuilt/serviced last year vacuum leak? idle setting? when its cold it revs 600RPM but when its warm it seems to rev just fine changing the fuel filter this afternoon see how it goes... any ideas will be great thanks

Hey guys, Again, this is in the 240K forums but it's open for every and anyone who may know because the knowledge will help anyone, well.. anyone with access to Skylines. I recently got a distributor from a GC211 Skyline... Now i figured it had an E12-80 module on it... I even asked the guy about it, something along the lines of "does the little black box on the side of the dizzy have E12-80 on it, because if it does I'll have the dizzy." Anyway, long story short.. it doesnt. The whole distributor is a Mitsubishi Unit, the Module still has 2 spades however, and they're still labeled C and B. Now the Dizz was running fine as far as I understand it on the Fuel Inj. L2…

I know this has been posted a lot of times in the forum but just want to ask you guys which fuel you guys are using? I know you're supposed to run lead replacement if you have stock (brass) valve seats but i know that this fuel is very crap used to be good when theres lead on them but I've heard that you can use UNLEADED even you got stock seats but not for a long period of time. How much is it to replace the seats to steel ones?

Fellas, Trying to get some feedback for what you think C110/240Ks are worth. Bear in mind to refer to either coupes or sedans.... For example, I would sell mine for $2000.00 if I got offered it. High comp L24, 3 speed auto, 240Z carbs, elec ignition, 3 row radiator, separate auto oil cooler, body straight-no rust, 280ZX series 2 alloys. (you can see pics in my gallery) Be interesting to hear what other think of this, and the value of their own. Cheers, James

When I try to reverse like on a slight angle road or a driveway (thats why I cant reverse park) the car wont move and it just revs as if its on handbrake or braking, but try it on level ground and its reversing fine. Checked the diff oil and tranny fluid and they are fine. Any ideas?

For future reference, here's a site outlining how the tail lights of a C210 work. This is exactly the same as the 'GT-R' style tail lights for our C110's. http://www1.linkclub.or.jp/~ackn/any/tail/tail.html (this is probably why the outer globes on my tail lights are dual filament. One for parkers, and one for tail lights. Both sets I have must have been modified so that all four rings light up on parkers - I'm not complaining!)

gday everyone, I first found this site cause I’m a bit of a Z fan and have friends who own and race 240 and 260Zs. I joined up a while ago when I saw some discussion about C110GTR stuff, and have had a bit of a chat with Lachlan about some GTR bits and pieces for my 240K coupe, but I’ve never got around to posting. But now that there’s a 240K section I thought I should say hi. My 240K coupe is patiently waiting for a restoration. I bought it as is almost 2 years ago now, with some minor front end damage, stuffed paint, dodgy flares, and a 4.4l alloy V8 with Supra 5spd :classic:. It’s a rover based engine (which was based on a Buick engine) out of the Aussie Leyla…
