Hello, is there anybody who lives in Europe and has a 240z? If so, be so kind and answer some questions. Is it hard to get parts for the 240z or maybe other nissan parts fits? And is it possible to make 240z everyday ride?

Hi everybody, After seeing the cyclists doing their work during the Tour the France! This idea came up. The plan called “Tour the France by Zâ€. The first idea was to go round France totally but that was too much. Now we have an alternative. The date: get together Friday evening May 21, spend the weekend with our Swiss Z friends who are holding a meeting in Interlaken. The following week we will drive southwards in the direction of Cannes/Nice. Using only small roads, ‘over’ the Alps, through little villages. A really great sight-seeing tour. Drive, eat and live like a Frenchman - that is our goal! Overnight, we can stay in a lovely village hotel or on a camping s…

If you like your Z factory original, Stop reading now. move along, nothing to see here. Right, for you that dont mind a modified Z, Heres a Guy in Västerås, Sweden (no its not Mull the oher swedish guy) thats customising a 240Z the way that old american cars are customised. It has a chevy V8, and now hes working on the body. He's chopped the roof (as in lowered the roof line), and is contemplating raising the floor to lower the car. Its not finished yet, but you can see the progress pics at: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/645045/1 Interesting work. would like to see it when its finished.

Well I feel like I´m alone out here. I live in Barcelona Spain, a week ago I bought a 260z & have yet to get in contact with anybody who has a Z & lives close. If there are any Z lovers here in Spain of in the south of France we should arrange to meet up & use our cars in good company. Please let me know where you are & we´ll get together. :cheeky:

Happy new year to everybody. I've got an interesting offer from somebody in Germany(soest) who must sell his unfinished projetct with many extra parts. He mentioned a price of 2000€, what sounds interesting to me. But I do not know the car. If someody in Europe is interested, shoot me an PM. Cheers Rainer

I'll find out next week whether I'm going to Geilenkirchen Germany this summer for 3 years. I'm thinking about taking the 240 as a second car to commute to work in. It's reliable enough to be a 3-4 day a week daily driver and would be alot of fun on the back roads. I'll have access to USPS but am curious how active the Z car club in Germany is and how hard it is to find mechanics who work on older cars.

Hi Zcar club members Since I've seen a Datsun 240-260-280z I've started to dream about it. I'm reading every day the forums, projects and fallin in love with the Z. Now I'm looking to buy one for me. My budget is about 4K and I'm looking for a Z to restore. Most important is that the Z: - has no rust or just few spots - needs painting - has complete interior - engine, suspension, brakes aren't important - if the engine is V8 swapped the budget can be negotiable I need someone who can help me in finding and shipping the car to Germany or Poland. So who wants to sell his car or got information about such a Z ?

Well it looks like my wife and I will be moving to Europe (Belgium) during the year. It's going to be a permanent move, so I REALLY want to take my Z with me. I would like to hear recommendations for shipping companies? The costs involved, the issues, etc. ... I am planning on shipping in a 20 foot container and packing some extra stuff with us (family stuff, clothes, etc.). I figure this is the best and cheapest method. Thanks for any help in advance.

Hello to all Z-friends I live in Athens, Greece and I have a 1973 240z which I bought 6 months ago from U.S. Even though the car is complete, well, needs some work but it is complete...I find myself looking to buy various parts from U.S. either because I can't find them in Greece or simply because the prices are much lower even with shipping costs... I would like to ask where Z-friends in Europe find parts... Ok, of course I know about ebay... But other stores or z-experts in Europe? Thank you in advance... And I'll thank you more later

It’s been a long time since Europe was a virgin territory! Thanks to Mike, I discovered that this web page, still unexplored as today, give me the opportunity to be the first somewhere! A new feeling for me. I will use this to promote our club and it’s latest accomplishment. Last week-end we had our French meeting, it was in Argenton le Chateau and a lot of friends came from all Europe. We tried to entertain everybody the best we could. The welcome Picnic on Friday night must have been good, if we judge it by the ratio whine/people ! The Z drivers sure use a lot more fuel than their car. Saturday morning was, well it was! And By 11h00 we where all paddling on the Gree…
