  1. The good thing about different heads is there's no serial number that makes them specific to your car. The block does but not the head, as far as I know. If I'm wrong we'll know in just a few minutes.

  5. Saw Animal House in 1978, watched it so many times since then but just found this out last night watching a behind the scenes of the filming of Animal House. Robert Cray was the bassists for Otis Day and the Nights at the Dexter Lake Club. He was a local where they filmed. In the late 1970s he lived in Eugene, Oregon, where he formed the Robert Cray Band and collaborated with Curtis Salgado in the Cray-Hawks. In the 1978 film National Lampoon's Animal House, Cray was the uncredited bassist in the house party band Otis Day and the Knights.
  6. Here's what my old OE radiator looks like, 4 speed transmission. No transmission fluid hooks up at the bottom.
  7. Did you get the pads right, maybe they are too thick?

  10. So a '77 shell weighs 530lbs or there about. Nice to know that information but now do you happen to know a '72 shell? That'd be my two cars weight and I'd like to know except I couldn't do what you're doing! Amazing work Mr Knot.
  11. There's a multi-colored baseball bat on letgo for $35 that would be cool looking. Probably get a bunch of shift knobs out of it? https://gb.letgo.com/en/i/rawlings-multi-colored-baseball-bat_7c62a427-ff6c-47ae-83cd-c3180a35b7f2

  13. You might as well replace the seals 'while you're at it" Big thanks to @Chickenman for the p/ns. Read a bit further, Chickenman posted in another thread the only part still available from nissan was the seal below. I remember now, seems like i used a 10mm deep socket to push it down.
  14. My '72 was leaky so I went with a '78 radiator with a ZX full shroud. Runs nice and cool.
  15. Could this one be that early?
  16. O'Reilly's has low pressure fuel hose pretty cheap. That's who had the 5/8" for the top 180 vent hose I used.
