My situation help please
As said already, working on mechanical stuff teaches you a whole lot of other skills. "Figuring out" sense too. Oh yeah, tools out the wazoo! I have things I'll never use again but maybe one day?

I went back to my build thread and found I painted mine Pontiac Blue, sorry about that John. Also I thanked @Jarvo2 so he must have pointed me in that direction? Captain Obvious also busted my balls on my choice so don't feel lonely.- L28+(maxima)47 build
Keep on marching soilder! I'm anxiously waiting a video chirping 4th and 5th. ?- What engine do I have?
Keep on posting! We'll be following your build.- 24th October 1969 - The S30-series Z public debut.

$14! How does that number come up? Give a $10 & $5!- Body Restoration
I've always read on here it's the rust you can't see that's the bigger issue. That car has so much visible rust the unseen will be way worse.- Stock Valve Cover Finish

$50,000 for a '78? I'm no estimator for body work but I would try and find a nicer car too. There's a nice 240 for $19,000 on here now. Turn key and go for a drive. My two cents.- What engine do I have?
Look above the 1st and 2nd spark plugs, closest to the radiator, for the cylinder head identifying numbers. N42, N47 most likely.- What engine do I have?
Take it apart first and measure everything to know for sure. It could have over sized positions from previous rebuild. I would buy Tom Monroe's How to rebuild Nissan L Motors. Amazon has them for less than $20.- SS Bumpers from Vietnam
Have you looked at futofab.com? My chrome plated plain straight ones came through him then to me from Vietnam. Same boxes too. They were/are perfect to me and were the better price. That was a 'black Friday sale" though but that's just around the corner- SS Bumpers from Vietnam
I use a savings account I put just enough money in to cover the price. Give them that acct. # and they can't wipe out my checking account. You could never be overly cautious in my opinion. They are trying their hardest to screw us!- In Search of Early 240 SU Full Linkage Diagram
All I can add is a picture of my early '72's set. Hope it helps in some way or another. If your using a phone you can "blow it up" pretty easy. If you need a specific area let me know and I'll get it asap.- In Search of Early 240 SU Full Linkage Diagram
When I rebuilt my motor I thought I had the linkage right in between my carbs. Boy was I off! I had those flat stops next to the carbs out of order and on the first crank of a anxiety filled rebuild it shot up to about 3,000 rpms with the pedal rod off. Just about scared me to death.- 0ther toys to show off.
I like to show my other interest too. Here's a boat I had that was really fun for about 10 years. This was taken the first weekend with the stock 150. I went way "overboard " with a 2.5 liter 200 horse Mercury motor that cost more than the boat. My Dad had one too but it was the family boat. I could flood him out with the "rooster tail" off mine. those were the days... $1.50 a gallon gas then we got "Katrina-ed", $3.00 to $4.00 a gallon. ☠️- 1976 280Z Restoration Project

Man, you Z people do it right! That's really nice. I have the car but not the stalls. One of these days!- Persistant water pump leak
I used aviation gasket sealer on mine. It helped, especially on those little peninsula looking flow walls.- Need Help Identifying Leak
@S30Grit just cleaned his cold start valve. Maybe he has some info that might be useful?- Terrible Tornado hit our friends in Dallas.
I have the size to go sideways but those darn verticle supports won't allow more than my mower. There's an apartment overhead so I probably should leave them.- Z_Camino.png
