  1. Use your video device as your helper. Those wheel bearings were a hard torque to figuring out as I recall. There was something in the fsm I believe. Tighten to a certain place then back off? Good luck, it would be nice if the battery was loose like Zed Head said.
  2. Too cheap, I agree with that. It'll slip with your motor I'd bet.
  3. Copper leak stop in coolant? Baby vomit?
  4. There you go @carcrazyken! Thanks Zkars.
  5. What about the calipers and pads? Are they tight? Hot out and bored, please excuse my redundancy.
  6. Have you tried unloading that wheel/tire and checking for unusual movement? Could be a bad bearing or race? Does the steering wheel shake while driving? Braking?
  7. I want to move this to the top. I'm trying to facilitate a "Pay it foward" kind of thing.

  9. @cargears will send an email to him since it's older. Good luck.
  10. How long since a fluid and filter change? That seems to help once the filer clogs and won't allow flow. Start with the simple/cheap stuff.
  11. You are the Man. Whether you have it or not. Thank you for looking!
  12. Im helping out a fellow member who's in need of a fuel damper bracket that mounts above the pump. I've searched from W to the last W.com and haven't had any luck. If anyone has a 280 parts car maybe you could help us out? It would be very much appreciated. Here's what he needs... Thank you for any replies. Cliff
  13. Looks like it took ecstasy and went to a rave.
  14. Here's the single on a '71. Maybe the single is the early cars and the double is the later 240s. That's my guess. https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au/news/2001/time-warp-datsun-240z-sells-for-au463000
  15. That's an awesome car! What a great find. You buy Lotto tickets?
  16. I think they're both 240 panels? That square is where the evap tank is, behind it I mean.
  17. Here's what I've used on my 240 and 280. http://www.atlanticz.ca/zclub/techtips/shifterbushing/index.html
  18. It's been a long while since I've read this but it seems like the fuel pressure was a main link in the switch over. Maybe the fuel tank vents too? Anyway here's the thread from an old friend I've bookmarked for my "one day soon" SU swap over on my '77.
  19. I'll take that as an attempt to bear good news.
  20. Those "flats" on the linkage next to the carbs have a certain way they stack together. I rebuilt my engine and on first start up it shot up close to 2,ooo rpms with the throttle rod unhooked. Really scary. After I got those right it was fine. Hope you find the problem.
  21. Here's my original 918 single stage paint after a cut and buff a few years ago. LED lights in my garage. I agree with you, it's just a bit peachy.

Going by their past way of thinking, prayer can't hurt though, it's wrong.
  23. I haven't changed. Maybe it's you?
  24. Swap the lugs nuts around and see if it follows that set.
  25. Ouch! I use that newer blue gel on the treads. So far, so good. Positive review from this user.
