You could have dropped a valve seat too. It's pretty rare, but possible. It would make the valve lash wonky depending on how the valve seated against it and it would be pretty noisy. Might not be able to tell that with the camera though.

I have a little grace for some of our leaders. They have experts around them that give them advise and they have a meeting before they ever go to the podium. There is a consensus established in that meeting that is then repeated at the podium. Being on the outside, it's hard to know if our leaders were getting good advise or not. They are repeating what they are being told from the experts. I read an article a couple of days ago that was reporting on opposing views concerning the virus. The two people who didn't agree were both experts, either virologists or epidemiologist. So even in the scientific community there is not total agreement on the proper course of action. I would also say this has never happened before. There are 1.4 billion people in India that are sheltering at home. Also our societies are much more mobile than during the 1918 pandemic. As I recall too, the Spanish flu didn't have the long incubation times, which makes this virus much harder to track and predict

The zerohedge article I posted has been updated with a refutation by a virologist I take all of these with a "grain of salt" the good and the bad. Then I try to balance it all out. Then all of a sudden the third week hits and you start developing lesions in the lungs and drown. If you survive you can have 30-40% loss of lung function. Also the average ICU stay is 5 days. Many of these patients will be there 3 weeks. Just not enough beds for that

I myself prepare because I like to be prepared. I carry a leather man, a knife and a flashlight becase I like to be prepared. I worry about the overall impact on others especially people who can't afford to be sitting at home without pay. Even so, I try to be prepared for the benefit of my family and my neighbors...

I did not read his earlier post and interpret gloating or any other negative intent. It is one of the weaknesses of the forum, there is no emotion in the written word and it is easy to misinterpret the writers intent. I took it more as a musing than gloating

@Av8ferg I agree and to add to that, what sane person would step up for the abuse that would come your way if you tried to run for public office to clean things up? People digging through your trash, contacting your friends from high school, people making up stories from thin air. What good, moral person would sign up for that? Our political offices were never intended to be careers. Add to that millions in bureaucratic positions for 20-30 years that really run the show and you get what we now have . A huge leviathan!

I would consider any lsd, even a VSLD a bargain at those prices but you need the halfshafts for the diff. the VSL diff have a unique halfshaft
