siteunseen Posted November 5, 2020 Share #2 Posted November 5, 2020 It annoys me when people in my life say I should sale my Zs while the market's up like it is. They look at BAT and ebay then advise me about cars I know better than they know their kids. 3

Zed Head Posted November 5, 2020 Author Share #4 Posted November 5, 2020 That's a $250,000 car. Funny, but Pierre Z worked on it prior to the auction. He worked on the 31k mile Z. Did you put those wheels on it?

Zed Head Posted November 10, 2020 Author Share #11 Posted November 10, 2020 (edited) The 78 is ending in a short while. Up to $22,780. Anybody know who ZIndustries is? Are they an established business or did they just make up a name to sell a Z for this auction? Sounds like a salesman..."I can assure you", "this is the best color combination of all", yada yada yada. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1978-datsun-280z-78/ Edited November 10, 2020 by Zed Head

I was serious, I thought it was about right. An old refurb'ed 1978 280Z, mid 30's price. Seems right. I still think that other guy should have taken the $111,000 for the 240Z. And, no offense, or sarcasm, I'm glad you don't work for me too. I sense trouble... 😦

I mean, it's well written sales literature. It's just a little over the top for me.

What's funny.. and seldom people see that.. the Z on the bonnet... eh.. hood is put back after paintjob upside down! 🙂 Also i think when i see all the mess inside the car it drove 172,000 km not 72000km... I bet the tag under the hood says: s130 nissan 280zx.. or it no longer has that tag.

Very nice List! only the: BY should be a PLUS or: "+" then it's a perfect list of 280z/zx's delivered only in Japan. (as i understand now!) Thanks for the list HS30-H !! I know that the L20E was a 2 ltr engine for the s130 it had to do with high taxes in Japan if your car had more than 2.0 ltr engine.. so there are probably few 2,8ltr 280z/s130 cars? 'G' prefix in the S130-series denoted '2/2' ('2 by 2') model and appropriate emblems, just as it did in the S30-series. The '2 by 2' name was used extensively by Nissan in its sales and advertising for the cars. No '2+2' / 'Two plus Two' in the Japanese market. Export markets only. Factory sales brochure. These are for the S30-series, but S130-series followed suit: Edited November 12, 2020 by HS30-H added photos
