Did you test the gauge by grounding the wire from the gauge itself. It should move all the way over to full.
  3. Did you install a new chain, tensioner and guides?
  4. @Zed Head Looks like a turbo hood.
  5. What happened to the temp reading you were going to provide. Thought You said you had ordered one from AMZ and would let us know right away.

  9. Sort of a Mcgiver moment here. Just a thought, Since you can’t see it can you get a very thin feeler gauge in there. Run it down until it makes contact and remove the gauge. At least you will be extremely close. Who knows it may work..
  10. Normally if you receive information from one of the senior members here. The information is pretty solid.
  11. My original was brass and had a thick rubber bushing to fit the bracket. New from Nissan it’s a solid piece. All plastic

  17. Mystery is he was running those wheels and tires before the tear down. Did you use factory parts meaning stock/aftermarket. The TC rod is the only thing I can think of. Get it on a rack and start looking around.
  18. Probably need a complete break down of the work you performed during the build in order to comment on the issue.
  19. What does the FSM recommend for your car?
  20. I’d install the aftermarket 3/4 on the car and give it a shot. I think you’ll find that it will work. My two cents.
  21. @jfa.series1 might be able to pass on some knowledge. It certainly isn’t as intricate as the headlight switch.
  22. @SteveJ You might want to focus on getting power restored for testing purposes.
