Electric fan or new fan clutch/shroud for my 240z?
That fan is way too large besides being expensive. Here’s one that fits nicely on the Ac condenser. Pushes air while the factory fan pulls air.

Electric fan or new fan clutch/shroud for my 240z?
My suggestion would be to install an electric pusher fan on the condenser. Thermostat control sensor that comes on at 185 degrees. Mitsubishi has a 10” that fits perfectly. “MMFAN-10C”

Replacing the clutch is a less expensive alternative. You might have other issues not related to the fan.

Help Identifying These Parts
Definitely nothing on a 280Z. Can’t confirm the ZX, the parts car I had has nothing similar to any of those engine wise. I’m sure someone on the forum will chime in.

S30.world
I agree 100%. Not sure what the issue is here in the pervious posts. I’ve done business with these folks in the past and their credibility has not been a concern. As a S30 owner I appreciate and thankful for the work and research the company has done to keep the S30 alive for the future.

My personal thoughts are that what you created is just fine for the market as it stands today. The guy that buys the current version of production is perfectly fine. Most have modified there cars to create a better performance look in my opinion.

71 240z that's been sitting....
Start with the Marvel mystery oil. Remove the valve cover pour engine oil all around the cam shaft and chain. This of course after you remove the previous oil and filter. Put the remaining oil in the engine.

I agree, For that price you can spend a little money and bring it back IMO. If it’s a solid car you are in pretty good shape moving forward.
