  1. That O’ring on the external assembly has probably dried up and that’s your issue.
  2. Join the club and be a subscriber and that won’t be an issue. It’s keeping this site alive at this point. IMHO
  3. Yarb replied to Erick's topic in Help Me !!
When you say G3 are you referring to the fram?
  4. That duration of 222 IMO is not aggressive enough to even worry about.
  5. I have a 78 as well. My car currently has the dash out and I can tell you there aren’t any relays behind the glove box. Have you referenced the FSM? There are 3 locations the relays are located. Engine bay housing rh fender, under dash LH side of steering wheel. 3rd location rh side near the fuse box. Someone here on this forum can point you directly to the location.
  6. Mine was installed by the builder. Looks like a standard Nissan gasket. He used Allen head screws for the install. Didn’t mention anything about a new pickup tube and the dipstick appears to be the same. You can contact AZC and they can answer any questions you have. It’s a very nice pan.
  7. https://www.arizonazcar.com/engine This is where I my pan was purchased. It has hinged baffles and holds an extra qt. of oil. Very heavy duty.
  8. How would you get your hand in there with the dash in? The defrost cowling removed is not near enough room to provide access.
  9. IMO this is AI playing a game.
  10. Most of the time a lot of those bad reviews come from folks that don’t know or have no experience installing piston rings.
  11. Need more of a descriptive finding. Does it crumble in your hand like sand or is it old dry rubber?
  12. That wasn’t the case for me when I brought my 78 back to life. Ran it from 5 gallons or less. Primed right away.
  13. So you used the original ignition switch hardware and just replaced the electrical piece that attaches to the harness?
  14. So did you replace just the electrical part and save your keys?
  15. That’s a first for me to hear. Not sure how that explains the heat problem you are describing?
  16. Chances are it’s leaking on the speedometer housing itself. It’s been a minute but if it’s like the manual transmission there’s an O’ring and a seal like @siteunseen mentioned.
  17. The speedometer cables are the same. If you don’t know or haven’t heard, Go to “CarPartsManual.com”.
  18. I was given one of those years back for Christmas! That went straight in the can!😂
  19. When I removed mine they were glued to the door itself. There wasn’t any glue where the push pins are located.
  20. In other caliper rebuilds mainly on the Toyota big brake option for Z’s. I went and found plugs that would block ports that were letting air disperse in order for the piston to blow out. If I may ask have the pistons been removed?
  21. There is still fluid in that assembly. Did you blow everything out with compressed air?
  22. Did you open the bleeder??
  23. Might want to ask Cody if he had a few parts he wanted to slide in on the Old man!😂😂
  24. Brake line is quite different than the bleed system. IMO go back and do it by having that bleeder open. You might be going down a rabbit hole here.
