  1. Monochrome photo of possibly HLS30-00003. You cab certainly see the yellow dabs of paint on the t/c rod nuts where it attaches to the control arms. Note the oil pan does not have the patch.

    Thanks! I'll send you that set of Grose Jets I pulled from a 73 yesterday. They soaked in vinegar this morning and I polished back to brass. YOU are now the Grose Jet Resident Expert! Here are what the knobs look like ?

  10. At the Z barn: Helped my buddy get a 73 going that sat for 5 years. Runs great now. Clogged fuel bowls, fuel needle valve blocked, missing internal carb spring, weak return springs, fuel pump failed, timing was at 10ATDC and vacuum leaks Picked up a fuel pump that matches the type in the very early FSM's Enjoyed a great view at the barn on the mountain and time with great friends... even saw a 1969 LA police car #12 stored there.
  11. I've used a die grinder with stones on an exhaust flange fillet weld to clean it up.
  12. Six Domestic Z's made in Aug 1969. Only 1 Export....possibly HLS30-00003 which may be this one used in the Factory Service Manual and other technical publications.
