It is a fairly easy conversion...pedal set, tranny, slave cylinder, some hoses and some interior trim pieces

Project Boondoggle (or, so I went and bought a Z!)
@Jaymanbikes The cut out in Dave's door looks larger than yours. Look at how close the bell crank is to the door opening versus yours...

Front grill assembly parts
Yeah! Let it fly... Would love the cowl screws... If I can't source the correct fastener a good picture would be the next best thing. I don't even know what they look like...The biggest thing for grill bolts is there is no length listed. I assume they are clear zinc and not yellow... Are you selling the hood trim? Ours is damaged but usable...

But what was the cause? I wouldn't think there was any water in there, so water intrusion at a light?

That would be easier than sourcing from multiple places. I assume the fender molding screws could be stainless but likely clear zinc Thanks for the help C

Modifying a '70-71 choke knob to fit a '72
I have been in the South my whole life and work out in the heat but I prefer a little bit of cold air when possible. Converting refrigerant is not an issue and the really valuable part of the system to me is the interior portion that piggy backs so well...

How Do I hate Rebuilt Components? Brake Booster
Yeah, that's what I figured. I contacted a couple of booster rebuilders to see if I could source the parts through them but there is really no money in it for them so the interest wasn't there. When I had a booster apart there was a part number on the large rubber diaphragm. I found that by googling but nothing in reasonable quantities. The real solution is to make these in small runs or find a rebuilder who has a source for ordering these parts...

Draw through carb turbo setup
Be careful about "sand" blasting some of those parts. Sand is very aggressive and can be dangerous to use! The Turbo housing could probably be fine bead blasted but if you get too aggressive with them the clearances will open up and the boost will go down

How Do I hate Rebuilt Components? Brake Booster
I found a source for the diaphragms a couple of years ago but I would have to have bought a 1000 units. They weren't very expensive but I didn't figure I could ever get rid of even half that so I didn't do it.

Front grill assembly parts
We have Cody's fenders, hood and valence painted and pretty much assembled but I need the screws for the headlight trims, grills, and hood and fender trim. Most of these are NLA. Can somebody help me out with parts or give me some direction for what I am looking for?

1970 VIN 0105 for sale on CL - hurry!
We had a thread a while back where some one was stating private collectors were paying six digits for very low number Z's. By my math you could pay $40k for this and still not be underwater after paying someone else to restore it. It will be interesting to watch

1970 VIN 0105 for sale on CL - hurry!
That's a rusty beast, especially for a California car. I assume it was near the ocean or came from another state. How high will it go? Does it make 40-50k?

With the rust in the cylinder bores, gaskets may be a waste of money. If I were that far in I would break it all down and at least hone it out and check or replace the bearings, but I have less time than I use to when I was younger. I don't like doing jobs twice
