The parts for 510's make finding 240z parts, look easy in comparison. You could buy a complete car for not a lot of money more and be way better off! In my opinion the body with no suspension or drive train is worth a couple hundred bucks. Bare 240z shells bring about what this sellers is asking but the finished Z is worth significantly more when finished than a 510...

Do you realize there are two slots? There is one with the bolt on top and one with a bolt on the bottom... Had to pick up "Captain Obvious's" slack...

I would think any washer would work. Take the one off the other carb, with out dropping it, and match it up at the auto parts store

I do not understand why you obsess over this fuel pressure. IT IS NOT THE ISSUE! I have been working on cars for close to 40 years. The issue is in the carb tuning somewhere

Haven't done any more on the barrel for now...need a PS first I just ordered the "Monster" Looked at a bunch of power supplies and just decided I would try this one. The wires are gonna add to your plating area. You will have to include them in your calculation. They will also increase your plate useage

As an FYI Cody will be 18 yo by Zcon 18 can I register him as a child? Does that affect his making laps? I don't think he would autocross but might like to make laps at the track day in a controlled environment.

Bend the the tap upwards, away from the floats a very minor amount. This will make the valve close sooner and lower the fuel level in the float bowl

If we get it properly sorted he would probably love to make laps in the 510... I thought I might register the 510 and hopefully the 240 if I can get it running by then. Might register the 350Z too. That would be my three cars. Signing his life away is not an issue as we have had to do that multiple times in the past. He would love brewery night but that might be frowned upon... So even as a guest or a child registrant they still can participate in all the activities. Any limitations to that, that you know of?

Ok, so if I register as the main registrant what is the drawback of registering Shelley as my guest registrant? Cody would like to come too. If I register him as a child will he be able to participate in all the events. Any limitations on that?

They don't! They have algorithms that do it and build a profile on you. I bet your FBI file would be lots of fun to read!!!!

3 psi is more than enough fuel pressure to get your car running right!

That is an excellent video! I tried to ask him some questions but never got a response. I have been doing a lot of reading and the distance between the anode and cathode effect how well concave items are plated. The further away the better...So in his case having the plates a long way away would make the irregular 4 barrel plate more evenly. If a dished area is 2" deep and the plate is only 4" away the dished area will evidently not plate well. It's a ratio thing. That's good. Too high of a current does weird things. Turns your plates black, rough plate, dark spots on your plate, etc. I have bought many things made in China that has served well but these cheap electronic PS just aren't made for what I need. They are really disposable, and I question how accurate and consistent they are. Sort of like a cheap MIG welder. I want a tank of a PS!! One of the ones I found was all sealed and potted so the electronics would be impervious to the corrosive fumes from the tanks.

The vapor tank is behind the interior panel on the passenger side. The panel needs to come out and the tail light interior panel also. It should get clearer then

If he has the stock air filter and it's pulling a lot air out of the crankcase, then yes that could make the pistons dark

After looking at your bolt some more I am not sure you are seeing rough plate but roughness from the rust being removed, maybe?
