  1. That is quite possible I have only had 1 ZX and I sold the power steering off it a while ago. I do remember some where that the 79-80 had manual steering and the 81-83 had the power option. Thus the add on pulley would make more sense. This pulley came in a batch of parts I bought off a racer that was moving, so I do not know the full set up or year.
  2. I think it resembles this one. It is a two pulley that was for the ZX with power steering. The third pulley is a bolt on for the A/C. IIRC.
  3. I have a loose 280 2 pulley one off the engine it looks like the eBay one, smaller back ring size. The one in the OP first pic looks like the ZX one with a third pulley. I have one of those off the engine as well.
  4. In my understanding of these diagrams, the upper C1 shows the x'ed out ones have no wires in this positions. The lower C1 is what the plug actually looks like. SteveJ will know for sure about this. 🙂
  5. I'll bring two damaged, but with working switches to the Club Meeting @7tooZ Just buy me a beer. 😎
  6. I have some used L6 ones, If you can't find a NOS one.
  7. Your killing me...Zed🤣😂 It also says on the side bar "Manual transmission". But who knows for sure until you see it. The seller thinks it is a 72
  8. The ad says Title status Clean. It does have a hole in the roof.
  9. I added to my post above.
  10. I saw this too. I have to agree with @DatsunZGuy looks like an early 260Z @zedhead Tail lights, Bumper mounts, fusible links, Evap can, larger coil.
  11. Steve, My 82 parts car still has the cable in it and seems to work well. Any interest?
  12. Not sure where this is from either, but thought it was cool. At least the Z is up front. lol
  13. Others will have more detail on dates for when these started and stopped etc. The one with the with the extra tab on top (left on last pic)is for the early 69-70 cars. That tab is where the hand throttle cable hooks up. The one on the right is the replacement for that, after the hand throttle was recalled and omitted.
  14. While this is not vintage, yesterday in fact. (Pacific Raceways in Auburn WA at the Historic Races.) This guy was leading the pack most of the day.
  15. I have sent my carrier pigeon, he is almost there now.
  16. Ha ha I thought that was amazing as well. The emblem holding the fender together. I thought the lock might be some sort of anti theft switch, but who knows.
  17. Sometimes patina goes a little too far Um-Kay! https://daytona.craigslist.org/pts/d/daytona-beach-datsun-280z/7500099304.html
  18. An unknown start in Japan?
  19. These were recently posted on FB. Seems relevant to the thread.
  20. Yep, still available new from Nissan. I have some used ones but the chrome is not so good.
  21. Wouldn't you be able to use the stock 280 horn pieces?
  22. I have some fan shrouds as well. Just further West.
  23. At least fuses are inexpensive to replace, and if yours are of an unknown age I would suggest replacing them all. Cheap insurance. IMHO. I have seen the price of these and many other parts going up and up. With a limited number of cars and popularity factor that is high, it rings true. Disconnecting the battery is always the safest method, can not go wrong there. I hope your repairs go smoothly.
