  1. Nice looking project 72 240Z auto, looks like good bones and a low starting price. https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1972-datsun-240z-220/
  2. Hopefully yes, as it look like they are back with a vengance.
  3. I was bombarded with the Spam ads as well, I reported a couple of them and it appears Mike has them banned for the moment.
  4. Please note this thread is 7 years old. 🙃
  5. That side hooks up to the emissions components that normally sit on top of the balance tube where the bolts are not holding anything. Most have been removed long ago.
  6. 240's were metal, 280 went to plastic. I would not recommend putting them in the oven. I am not sure about reproductions, I seem to remember a FB ad for some made of metal but shady looking outfit and expensive. They come up on eBay from time to time.
  7. I'm coming up with about 5" diameter clamped. The side to side is 1" and the up/down is 1.75" Here are pics of the resistor too..... If you can find a pic of what you need for the linkage I can look for that too. I will PM a price based on what I'm shipping (weight and size)
  8. I have this canister bracket off my 82 ZX, funny the part numbers I looked up was a 14915-N3600 for ->78 and then the 82ZX was a 14951-N3600 They look the same, so I am thinking one is a typo. The canisters look the same, they just mount them in different spots. I have 4 wire (4 pin) and a 5 wire (6 pin connector) resistors. Untested but look intact. If you're interested....
  9. I should have the clamp and possibly the resistor. I'll check and let you know tonight.
  10. Push in and turn counterclockwise 1/4 turn after the natural rotation stops. Reverse to install. Looks like this.....
  11. More pace car action.....
  12. Ha, I have enough motors, 2 F54's a few N42's and a bunch of 240's I usually get them in the cars, but I did buy one outright. A 240 with an auto trans on it for $30 The carbs on there look 3 screw? with 73-74 manifold, but they are sold separate.
  13. I am no expert on this at all, but I remember seeing a post about parts of the front of the radiator core are black in some areas. Might only be on early cars. Something like this pic I stole from the web.
  14. You are correct, I did not see the model listed in the signature line. Moot point, question answered.
  15. I think the discussion is about this cluster of connectors, correct?
  16. I've not used either so I really can't say for sure, but my guess would be probably not. The sizing might be a little different.
  17. The hinge on my parts car 280 is broken. There is a seller on eBay that offers a kit. They seem to be popular. I have seen him on FB too. The eBay link is strange but here is a clip of the item. Just search for the description.
  18. That is just the start, as with the case of this OP took the next step and sent money for the parts only to have the person not answer back and no parts shipped. I know we all started at one point with no post and no feedback, you have to build a reputation of be an honest seller, If you just start scamming people, you'll be called out (like this thread). Then you change you name and start over.
  19. @MorunoGarage I sent some pics and info.
  20. You are in North WA state, go cherry pick it. 😬 time to rebuild the hoard.
  21. That is an interesting list of "pop up sellers" I have seen these kinds of scams a lot recently. When someone posts a want ad then these people all have one available. All new members with no posts. Glad to hear you are pursuing the money sent to the last "seller" Best of luck on that. Since it was a nice sunny weekend I went out and took some parts off the 76 280Z parts car, for future sales. I did pull the pedals, and seem to be missing 1 spring. You should have that same spring on your brake pedal. I will get some pictures this afternoon, as I am headed to work for the day. I will PM the pics and a price. I will also look into the shipping to Spain.
  22. I have a 76 with the front bumper on it. It is not in perfect shape most of the rubber is cracked, and there is a bent up part on the drivers side, so inexpensive. Let me know if there is any interest. I'm in WA too. Exit 82
  23. As said above if you linked the funds through a credit card, ask the card company. I get the impression you linked your bank. I will confirm I have the whole set of pedals, and send pictures for you to decide you would like to proceed with another set. No rush, take the time to give @mikegreen008 the opportunity to make this right for you. Refund or the parts. 54 days on the forum and no posts. @Mike should also be aware of this activity in my opinion. Good luck, as well.
  24. Did you need the whole pedal box with the two pedals? most of the actual boxes are set up for auto or manual applications. Normally you would just need the two pedals, springs, and mounting bolts. Not sure of your situation. I think I still have a set if you're interested. Size and weight make up the freight price. Taxes are usually on your end when you pick it up. Sorry to hear of another scammer, they seem to be coming out of the woodwork in the classic car world. I am sure they are all over the place when there is need for goods. If you sent as Goods and Services PayPal should cover you. Friends and family is always a risk.
