Gday all, Ive been on a hunt for a 280zx electronic dizzy for what seems like AGES now...There have been quite a few zx's advertised in Perths local classifeids publication, but all of the owners so far have denied me the opportunity to take bits out of their cars [even $800 unlicenced shitbox examples] such as the distributor. Now i know that the 280c is also endowed with one, and a seller today claimed that later 260c's had them, but these cars dont come up very often either. Would anyone know where i can obtain electronic ignition for a half-decent price [aside from a kit using your points dizzy]?

Return of my car 1 2

Although the most interesting thread at the moment is the triple-hijacked tonyasap's thread, I GOT MY CAR BACK!!!!! Yes, after two months in the shop, it's back in my possession. It was a combination of bad luck, poor subcontract supplier, 10 days of Japanese holidays, and a change order to the work being done that made a 2 week job turn into a two month job. I will post pictures when I get them from the shop owner and take some myself. Until then, I will tease you with a Prince 6 being worked on at Uchida's shop. Note the original single number 5 series at the top of the plate.

I have something to ponder over, Last night while driving home, i began to give the car a bit. Nothing out of the ordinary, just enjoying its abilities. The thing that struck me, and that has struck me in this situation on many occasions before, was the power delivery. At night, it appears, when the air is dense, the car feels at least 20-30 hp stronger, is more responsive than at any other time, and pulls like a train from low down right up to 6k rpm or so. Yet, during the day, and generally when ever most of my driving is conducted, the car and its power delivery never feel so sinuous, complete and all-of-a-piece. Is there any way i can emulate this mode of operation -…

Hello guys, it's been a while since I last posted. I have been busy moving to Phoenix, Arizona. I am now getting situated and was wondering if one of you guys might be able to help me out. I have been thinking about getting a 240K to join my KGC10 for a while now. I was wondering if anyone might be able to help me purchase and ship one up to the U.S. Or if someone could point me in the direction to someone that can. I am looking for a '73 or '74 two door. Rust is obviously an issue as there are no parts up here. I would like to find one that is complete and running. If it has any GT-R conversion parts it would be a plus. I am interested in any opions on what to …

I have F/A knowledge about cars and am looking for some advice. A 240k 4 door is easily available to me as it was my grandfathers since brand new and now lives sadly but in surprising condition on my uncles property. Me and a couple of mates were thinking that we might have a go at trying to fix it up on a low budget but try to make it look quite "tuff". We were thinking of just respraying it, getting some wheel flares, wide wheels, rear spoiler and sitting it down a bit lower. Could people please give me some advice on lowering, changing wheels eg what is the stud measurements?, how hard it would be to fit wheel flairs to the 4 door body, and how hard it would be to fi…

L-series Engine 1 2 3

Decided to start a new thread on the L-series engine. From what I've read on another forum, the L-series engine was developed by Nissan and was continually refined and upgraded, ending with the L-28. The G8 (S-20) engine was developed by Prince and this engine eventually gave birth to the RB series engines found in later Skylines. Any thoughts?

Yes that’s right Not 1 Not 2 But 3 !! Because we got no sponsorship this year we couldn’t go on the Great Escape. We are now selling the datsuns in preparation for something different for 2006. So they are up for sale. One is a rolling wreck with auto Tx was driven into yard 12 months ago but not started since. It has been butchered by previous owner... instruments from later model not properly fitted, carpets better suited to dog kennel seats tatty, painted by hand with 12 inch brush using water based house paint….one rear wish bone rooted… but car generally useful for engine transmission and other parts...perhaps as an anchor for your cui…
