Here's one for the Japanese researchers out there! I'll start this with the disclaimer that I have yet to see anything to back it up. I was asked had I heard anything to substantiate it. He brought the story back from a recent Nostalgia car show in Japan (Nagoya?) I have a mate who has had a professional and hobby interest in Japanese Performance cars, mainly '60's to '70's....anyway he recently suggested the "Kenmeri" name for the 1973 C110 range actually pre-dates the "Ken & Mary" adv. campaign. The original idea was this model be released to the American market, or was to be an "American styled/flavored model". Someone or some Japanese article had led him to beli…

I'm new to the club, but i've had my 240K GL (1977 4 door) for about 21 years. When was the last time this model/style was produced? Mine has a black vinyl roof, but I have'nt seen one the same on the road or on this website? What has caused such a massive following? (Although I know it was of the best cars >with all the options included< I had driven at the time) Keen to hear from you.

Hi Guys, as i am getting a repo GT-R wing from japan for my C110, i have the wing i was going to modify and use for sale. It is an GMH LC Torana wing, which is very similar but not a perfect match to the GT-R wing, but it is better than nothing The wing is a little long, so it would really need to have a section in the middle removed (maybe 1"), which should get rid of the keyhole in the spoiler. it would probably have to be slightly built up around the edges to meet up with the boot lid. it has a few minor cracks around the edges, and it has been primed, but if you have a little experience in fibreglass, it wouldn't be too hard to fix the whole thing up. I think one…

Hey everyone havent been active here for sometime now...been very busy I got my car towed yesterday from my mums house to my house. The car hasnt been started for 15 months and yesterday it started after a few tries. Noticed blueish white smoke out the exhaust (valve seal or something else) also petrol is pissing out of the fuel pump where the gasket is. I'll be storing the car again for sometime as I'm putting the project on hold again... or will do it really slowly as I'm doing apprenticeship on panel beating cant stand IT anymore. anyway I'll probably check the 240K forum more often now...

Miles and I finally won a yahoo auction for a GT-R replica grill!!! it is a Fibreglass copy, but looks rather nice it had a small crack and a section of paint had fallen off, but overall not to hard to fix i finally won it for the princely sum of $210, not cheap, but since i have seriously been looking for GT-R grills, they have all but dried up (apart from 2 $1000+ real ones!) so fingers crossed, over the next few weeks, my whole kit should be swimming it's way over!!

Datsun Laurel on Ebay Australia. From Ratdat history page: C30 - April 1968 The C30 was the first Datsun Laurel and filled a gap in the model line up between the 510 and 130 models and does bear a strong family resemblance to a 510 although marginally longer and wider. The C30 was a very sophisticated car for 1968 and featured an 1800cc OHC crossflow 108hp engine (type G18) of Prince design. There was also independant suspension all round with the classic semi trailing arm rear end of the 510 along with strut front suspension the same as a 240Z along with rack and pinion steering ...unusual in a Nissan sedan. The car was a medium sized executive car and as such was qui…
