Wonder why @mike has not deleted the 80 plus posts? Am I the only one getting these?
  5. Yes they are
  6. I removed the entire bushing on my 280 and the poly bushing flopped around in there. It was designed for the sleeve to stay in tact
  7. Ease a 1.25 in there and feel it out.
  8. I’m up, most I’ve seen is 1.25. But of course I might be wrong!!!😂
  9. Are you sure it’s not possibly a 1.25?
  10. Maybe something to do with the assembly process. Doesn’t make any sense. Not durable at all. Almost a shield to protect.
  11. Wow they must have had some serious corrosion. Mine worked with the slide hammer. Sorry about your luck but you got it done!!!
  12. Good job helping out another member. I’m sure it’s much appreciated.
  13. Thanks Jim, trying to pull out of this food debacle from the ball field. Be careful with that spring compressor. I know you’ve done this many times as I have but it’s just as scary as the first time you tried it!! thanks, Jim
  14. NAPA may have them in their Echlin ignition brand. Could get it overnight.
  15. It’s a step by step process with the FSM or EFI bible that @Zed Headhas mentioned. You will probably find one or more connections faulty. Check each one and record your findings. Jumping to conclusions will put you in a tail spin.
  16. Put it on TDC before you touch anything.
  17. My mistake thought you had an injection system.
  18. Which pump did you use? The factory pumps are still available.
  19. Post is fairly old. @zdude1967Can you provide an update on your findings?
  20. Nicely done!!
  21. Not to mention Quality Time!!!😂😂
  22. Your best bet is to have one made for you from MSA or a drive shaft shop. The replacement units come with spicer ujoints that are replaceable if needed in the future. Going to cost around $300 to $400 dollars.
  23. @Zed Headis correct. Just made the swap myself.
  24. Thank you friend…
