  2. An S2000 has 247HP and a great sound between 7000 and 9000 rpm..... but a Z's torque is more memorable.
  3. Another reason why Colorado's legalized POT is not a good thing.
  4. hahaaha Dennis! Laugh of the day.... Thanks
  5. L28 with 16psi on a turbo will get over 300hp at rear wheels

  7. I don't have lathe envy anymore... but I have milling machine envy.
  8. Well for Nashville,we expect you both to sport real flat tops if you are true to form and "the cause":
  9. WOW That is great guys. Congratulations! How close were the 73's in points? It looked like it would be a tough one to judge as you both put so much into your cars. JS way to go! Nice win!
  10. They must have been emulating a "continental kit"
  11. We can help you so long as you take photos of the connectors from ~ 3' away then up close with the dirt off the wires for ~ 4" up to the connector. We will need to see colours of wires and connector type.
  12. Beautiful car. Museum piece. Sell it in a couple of years after the 240z priices plateau. Until then get it as original as possible and enter in a Zcon event to get Gold Medallion!.
  13. People have been restoring vintage aircraft for years... nothing new here. In fact, the Messerschmidt Foundation bestowed a new s/n on a recent ME-262 reproduction. https://www.warhistoryonline.com/whotube-2/me262-at-the-ila2006.html
  14. I saw one like that from Quebec. I'll check my past ZCon photos.
  15. Thanks, I'll flush with alcohol on patient #3 and never use the strong stuff again ? Both patients #1 and#2 are alive and ticking.
  16. FYI: I just sprayed 2 dead clock's workings with brake cleaner, now they work. I did not disassemble. I just removed the 3 nuts and front plastic/glass. then pulled the grommet free so that the works could be pulled far enough to spray. (The Black- and Blue+ wires still passing through the back). Not sure for how long it will last but this easy to do trick definitely made a significant change. The clocks I sprayed have the electric motor.

  18. Is Mr. Matsuo there this year?
  19. OK. Thanks for the details. Got it. I did not see the top rivet on the pickup (5). I just did this adjustment on a similar set up and the pickup would move when turning the eccentric (3). It seems yours is not adjustable without drilling a rivet.
  20. @Captain Obvious attached below is schematic with details of FA6004 audo amp in 1972 portable Hitachi radio. Same 8pin SIP module. It may be similar in some ways. The best I can do. FA6004 Details.pdf
