I've taken it around the block a few times and it's a lot of fun to drive. Not long now and i'll get it registered.

Hi Guys, I'm back from overseas and as mentioned in Uras1's thread a couple of months ago I thought I would share pictures of my new coupe. It's a 1974 2 door, completely original, and apart from some spongy brakes, drives pretty well. I'm planning on tidying her up for Rego, and enjoying driving her with a view to a full restoration and possibly converting to a G.T.R replica in the future. Cheers.

Hi Guys, i figured it was about time to do a little bit of an update on my project (especially since everyone else is getting somewhere!), 2010 has so far been a busy year, unfortunately mostly on things other than the project (getting married tends to do that to you ), though the last couple of months have been interesting! (BTW, this whole story will be up on my blog, it may make reading the progress of the project a little easier downt the track as it gets fragmented here) It all started with an email from a guy in melbourne to my website, he owned a 240K coupe from the late 70's. The coupe had travelled with him for a significant part of his life, and unfurtunatel…

Anyone know where these cars ended up? Think one was stripped & freshly painted gold & the other was blue. Both were 2 door hardtops:love: Still dreaming of a 240K project!

Just new to this forum, but have been on heaps of car club and forum cruises in the past. Just wondering is there a semi regular 240/GTR cruise in Victoria?? or if not, a mixed Niss/Dat cruise that anyone knows of? Would be great to meet up with like minded ledgends!!! Thanks.

Hi Guys, unfortunately i have some sad news today, My best mate, Mark passed away this morning from bowel/pancreatic cancer. We had been working together on all of my "projects" for over 8 years now (none really completed except the rally car -which we never got to rally). Unfortunately the last 7 months have been really tuff on everyone, hence why my 240K progress ground to a halt. It is hard to motivate yourself to do something when you are use to doing every weekend with a mate (and having him think up ingenious ways to tackle problems). Also having all the stuff at his house, meant that i didn't want to get in the way too much of him and his family. With his death, i …

Before and after pics, 2 years in the making....Would you believe I got my old car back after 4-5 years? Those who have been here long enough may recall I sold this to a younger guy (Mobsta), who then re-sold this car to an old friend of mine, and it's come full circle again! Wish it came with all the parts I sold with it oh well...! Paint OK, neat. New seats, carpet. L28 .030 overbore, flat top pistons. 5 speed w/ 3.9 diff. King Springs, new shocks all round. Can't wait for next Wednesday night...

Hi again, I have had a 1975 260c 4 dr auto for a number of years, but now I have the 240k COupe, I was wondering if I should sell the 260 (its been out of reg for 5 years) or keep it if I can use some parts in the coupe? Engine is an obvious one (2.6 vs 2.4) it has A/C which my coupe does not... Having said that, may be usefull for front struts? larger brakes etc?? any thoughts would be appreciated. p.s the 260c was a one owner, deceased estae car that has "GENUINE" 75k on the clock, paint is a bit faded now...

an email i got from a socal dat buddy: Dude. I was driving home at about 8 pm when I saw this curious and cool tail lights ahead of me. I was driving my Suzuki. The tailights looked awesome ( got to get a set for my future 140Z) so I tried to get close. Heavy traffic on a two lane street. I got side by side..it was a LHD Skyline like yours, silver in color with overfender flares (black) and wide tires, like the skylines of the past.I was side by side, and it was a LHD one. Paint job looked immaculate. i'm thinking it's the silver one on fleabay, and my buddy mistakenly thought it was lhd

Hey guys, long time lurker on here and I obviously rarely post but I'm having an issue with a 240 K that I'm in desperate need of finding a secondary VIN location on. I searched my arse off but I haven't been able to find any information regarding the matter. It turns out that one of the genius previous owners tried passing the car off as a K"P"GC110 by modifying the "H" to look like a "P" on the stamping on the firewall and there has never been a secondary VIN plate attached. Obviously this is going to cause a bit of a red flag when we register the car and have the VIN inspected. My question is does anyone know if there may be another VIN stamped into the frame rails…
