Might be a silly question, but here goes. Tail lights (whether JDM or export), are they able to be swapped left to right??? Just watching Import Monster for some JDM lights and am curious in case i can pick up a single light setup

Anybody got and scans of 240K wiring diagrams they could post? Might try and get the interior fan blower working in my K. Wiring digrams would be a help.

I'm slowly getting my EFI set up done, I brought a MR30 skyline, to use the EFI from, I stripped the wiring harmes out, Hacked the wiring a bit, and I kept the fuse box, plugged it back onto the motor (still in the MR30 Skyline) to make sure it was still running, All appears to be good, started on my 240K to see where I was going to put it (ECU), I decided under ther dash, left hand side, above the parcel tray, I put a hole in the fire wall, put the wiring through to make sure it fitted, Now I'm hacking the inlet manifold, removing the webbing and EGR plenum, I've included some pictures.. Hi Guys, i have been thinking of completely stripping out the main body wiring harness in the 240k, and replacing it with a US universal kit such as this one (either 12 or 18 circuit): http://www.painlesswiring.com/webcatalog/cat-universalharn.php I am pretty proficiant with soldering etc, and i was going to just run my own wiring, but as it seems hard (and very $$$) to find a decent fuse box here in Aus (and i really can't be bothered trying to get an used fusebox rewired), i figured i should just pay the ~$500 and buy a kit and install it myself (certainly cheaper than hacking the main loom, screwing it up and ahving to pay a pro to fix it). Hello, Well I installed a Mallory Unilite vac advance distributor along with a Blaster 3 coil and NGK plugs on my L28/N42 with triple Mikuni carbs. The car has been running ok but a little rich due to the upgraded ignition that was on the engine before I bought it. It did not come with the engine, but I do plan on buying an MSD 6A for it. But any way, I go to start the car in the morning and when I step on the gas, the power cuts off. The car has not been running for around a month. I checked the fuel, and I've got a new battery and I think the carbs work, but I do not have any power going to the coil. I checked the coil with a multimeter and it's good. I even hooked up t…

My fuel gauge stopped working after the car sat for a month with a full tank of fuel. I need to test to find out if the tank sending unit is bad or the gauge itself. I can't make heads or tails out of the testing procedure offered in "that" UK printed manual. Does someone know how I can test the tank unit easily? Thank you! Kerrigan

Hi Guys, just wondering if anyone has a spare ignition barrell (And key) and switch for the 240K (sedan or coupe). we worked out the vapour lock issue on the GT over the weekend just to discover a new problem in that the car no longer runs in the on position (it has to be held slightly in the start position, trying not to bump the starter motor ) let me know if you do Kent

Hey Guys, I have an R31 electronic dizzy at home which I am looking at fitting to my L24, carby motor. Any ideas on weather this will be fine? It's from an RB30 motor not Lseries, and I have taken my stock one off and fitted this one and it all sits fine, just not sure if there is anything internal that would cause issues? Wiring for it seems identical to the R30 ones. Did a search but only found info on R30/280zx dizzy's. cheers Bobby

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knew anything about selecting spark plug wires? Does it really matter what kind of wire you get for your car? Do you need a certain set up with a Mallory Unilite Distributor and a MSD Blaster 2 coil, and MSD 6A?
