Thank you. It can be a curse tho. Sometimes it feels as though I obsess over small details to avoid tackling the next challenge. I am nervous about spraying the base and clear coats, so maybe that's why it's taking me so long to finish the small detail work. Hmmmm.

I am considering having a wheel lug stand made so I can pull a wheel off at car shows to show off the brakes and suspension goodies. Might be enough to show off the underside a little.

This at least shows the thin skin coat used to fill the pinholes and provide a nice smooth finish to the fibreglas filled areas. This is before sanding of course.

I just was looking at my latest progress pictures and realized they looked the same as last time...! Doesn't look like any work has been done but I have done more sanding and added the putty coat to the floor panels along the frame rails. A little more sanding then on to the seam sealing. Then the sealer coat!

I have a set too. I also have a set of the interpart brackets and mounts but no interpart louvers. I really don't want to drill my restored hatch.

What production date is your 76? Look in the driver door jamb for the stamped date. The models changed significantly during the production run half way through the year.
