    What's the problem?
  2. I mean both, but better to remove wipers and pull cover. I had this exactly problem. We welded a patch in the floorboard at that spot to repair it. Also repaired the holes in the cowl around the air intake. So the water was leaking down the inside under the carpet so you couldn't really see it.
  3. Check the area under the cowl cover where the wiper motor is. The air intake tends to rust out under there allowing was to run down the firewall to the very spot where your rust hole is. If that is rusted through you'll need to repair that as well.
  4. I'm not going this year. Been to Nashville a couple times.
  5. I think Dave is back making his kits, at least sort of.
  6. They have Koito on that link for Toyota.
  7. I know Dave's stuff, I have some of the harnesses on my Z. I don't know about switching needs for these lights, but I assume they're selected because they will work on early Zs.
  8. Looks like this thread is becoming unmanageable. Are you guys managing your post lists? Because when they're sold they need to be deleted. Don't make people run through a list of 20 cars that have been sold. Frankly I'm not convinced this thread is helpful.
  9. https://www.thezstore.com/datsun-240z-1971/product/865/chrome-classic-hid-projector-headlight-kit-70-83-240z-260z-280z-280zx https://www.thezstore.com/datsun-240z-1971/product/867/chrome-classic-hid-projector-headlight-kit-v2-70-83-240z-260z-280z-280zx So I'd like to hear opinions about these two options, and/or others. There not much in the descriptions on the MSA site. I don't want this thread to go negative, and all about brands. Thanks.
  10. I have my straps in a box somewhere, and decided not to reinstall them for couple reasons, 1) limit usefulness, and 2) would need complete refurbish of the metal parts and new webbing.
  11. If you're going to post these photos, why not include info and context?
  12. I never cared for the straps. The metal finish was low quality, and they had very limited utility.
  13. Not sure I'm follow what the problem is. Are you looking to replace these rubber pieces?
  14. That's cheap for that one. Get it! I paid more 20 years ago. Get it powder coated.
  15. If I had to choose again, I might go with the version without front brake cooling inlets.
  16. BRE spoilers if you want to maintain stock valance.
  17. Stock shifter will not work as-is with a 5 speed without interference. Most modified the shifter.
  18. It's a difficult job, so replace all the consumables (eg, rubber, rollers, etc) while you're in there. Grease what needs after cleaning all parts thoroughly.
  19. You know what we really need? New sprayer nozzles. Mine are mostly shot, and I hate them. Too bad there isn't a better nozzle out there.
  20. Okay, who's going besides me? Already registered!
  21. Where have you been? We're going to Tampa this year.
  22. I'm pretty certain they should be body color.
  23. Scan an inside panel.
  24. Does fit in a channel or use adhesive?
