S30 texted me back a few days ago and said he was under the weather with some flu symptoms.
  3. Definitely swap the calipers! If you have the master cyl loose it wouldn’t hurt to check the depth. When I say apply grease I mean as little as possible. 1/4 turn longer. When you go to mount it you will know if it’s too tight. Long cue tip and a smidgen of grease at the base. I think you Will definitely find it’s the calipers being reversed.
  4. Chime in Gentlemen
  5. From what I see it’s off from the pics shown in the post you provided. Hopefully it could be that simple
  6. Have you tried the “old school hillbilly technique”? Just a blimish of white lithium grease on the Mc piston. Once you find evidence on the booster rod itself give it another 1/4 turn and you should be dead on.
  7. Is it 11:35 on the distributor or 12:35 On the oil pump shaft? I need to go back and look.

  14. What did you find out when you measured the links with your meter?
  15. If those are near the passenger side shock tower I believe they were for the factory AC system. Something to do with the vacuum solenoids/vacuum bottle. My 78 has them and they were not connected. Had the same mess you are dealing with.
  16. Not eliminate, I guess you didn’t understand what I meant. Meaning diagnose another variable in the circuit. As you know every connection on these vintage survivors needs a good visual and measurement so you can move on to the next step.
  17. Did you happen to look at the other items he has for sale it’s insane!!
  18. Thought I saw a thread where someone here made one on a 3d printer. Fairly recent.
  19. I think you might be looking at sound deadening material.
  20. He could have crusty green contacts as well as a bad link. Why not eliminate each leg and put that to bed.
  21. This is not to be insensitive by any means… Are you sure the G3 filter is oriented correctly with the arrow pointing to the pump. It’s easy to get confused when gas is running everywhere.
  22. @kickstand80This is a 260 with carbs not sure they had a AAR housing like EFI. But who knows….
  23. What is your fuel pressure between the filter and fuel rail? I know it might sound off base but that needs to be clarified IMO.
