  1. Where have you been My friend!!!
  2. Possibility it got flooded somewhere In its life time. Maybe salt water. Wonder what the inside sheet metal looks like.
  3. Ryal’s order three or four different sizes!! Increase your odds!! You can return the other three and pass on the info…🤣🤣
  4. No worries, once you ohm it out you will know right away. These cars have a ton of connections and by the time you’re done you will have a good understanding. IIt takes time and patience. Record everything you check.
  5. What did you find out when you measured the links with your meter?
  6. If those are near the passenger side shock tower I believe they were for the factory AC system. Something to do with the vacuum solenoids/vacuum bottle. My 78 has them and they were not connected. Had the same mess you are dealing with.
  7. Not eliminate, I guess you didn’t understand what I meant. Meaning diagnose another variable in the circuit. As you know every connection on these vintage survivors needs a good visual and measurement so you can move on to the next step.
  8. Did you happen to look at the other items he has for sale it’s insane!!
  9. Thought I saw a thread where someone here made one on a 3d printer. Fairly recent.
  10. I think you might be looking at sound deadening material.
  11. He could have crusty green contacts as well as a bad link. Why not eliminate each leg and put that to bed.
  12. This is not to be insensitive by any means… Are you sure the G3 filter is oriented correctly with the arrow pointing to the pump. It’s easy to get confused when gas is running everywhere.
  13. @kickstand80This is a 260 with carbs not sure they had a AAR housing like EFI. But who knows….
  14. What is your fuel pressure between the filter and fuel rail? I know it might sound off base but that needs to be clarified IMO.
  15. @grannyknotGot a link my friend and an approximate cost? Inquiring minds need to know!!
  16. I also believe @SteveJgave you a heads up on where to start as well.
  17. @Captain Obviouscan chime in here, but you’re best bet is to put everything back together and go by what the folks here have recommended. Just because the po gave you extra parts you really don’t know the history. You need to have a baseline on troubleshooting and go from there. I wish you the best of luck. There is a way of getting there but it’s step by step.
  18. Pretty sure @carcrazykentried to install this kit on his 76 280z and could not get it to work and ended up sending it back.
  19. Comes in a kit but you can call and order it separately. Good folks there, great customer support
  20. This just came to mind when you were talking about a “side winder hose”. Here’s a couple of pics of a line that came with my fuel line kit from SS Tube. Hooks to the factory pump configuration but might work on other applications. You can order it separately and possibly continue on with straight hose. Just a thought. Good luck with your project.
  21. IMO, the fuel gauge is a real time reference point on how the fuel system is operating.
  22. Not sure how you would incorporate fresh air into a Vintage system. I assume you could contact them and go from there. From what I’ve read here most folks were asking how to cap it off the intake door after the install.
  23. To add to that I was there yesterday as well and I agree they are quality replacements that come with the clips. He also has all of the braided hoses for the 240z as well. Unfortunately nothing for the 280 series yet.
