  1. Did the car have aftermarket air conditioning? Could have been some make shift brackets for that.
  2. Did you order a new Frontier alternator from RO?
  3. By chance did you have the headers ceramic coated along with the collector?
  4. @Matthew AbateAre those ZStory headers?

  6. Nice work… That was not easy.
  7. That electrical pumps windings could be going bad and pulling down the system. If it’s making a ton of noise the bushings are going south as well.
  8. The reading on the battery fully charged should be IMO 13.2-13.4 Volts. As for the electric pump scenario, the mechanical pump had been deleted by the PO?
  9. Earl’s fittings is where I found mine. They sell a bunch on Amazon as well.
  10. I did. They looked really nice. Wish he had a set for the 280 series I would have bought them.
  11. You’re fine, Did you choose not to incorporate the tee and manual gauge. That and a fuel pressure gauge after the main fuel filter will help you with diagnostics in the future. IMO
  12. My Bad!! Toranado slipped my mind, but now that you refreshed my memory that monster of a car is fresh on my mind. What a beast of a car that was. I’ve always loved those motor homes!
  13. If those don’t work out I believe I have a few of the other brand at the shop.
  14. Isn’t that the GMC motor home that was front wheel drive back in the day? Same drive train from a Riviera?
  15. Thank you @jfa.series1for pointing that out.
  16. Ok,thanks. Wasn’t there another company out in Texas?
  17. Wonder if they could make me one. I think these folks are in Texas. Guess I could give them a call. Thanks @SteveJ
  18. Yes Sir
  19. Also saw where there is a manufacturer that has the drier attached to the condenser. Hoped that would be a cleaner look.
  20. Want to throw this out to the forum. Spoke with another member here that’s very familiar with these systems and recommended using copper until a flex point is needed. Want to hear from you guys and experience adding a vintage air or other aftermarket system. At the moment I have a clean slate on moving forward in the engine bay. All of the 280z brackets/ hardware is gone. Thanks and welcome any advice.
  21. What color is your car? Is that a Range Rover paint code. Looks very similar to what I’m respraying my car with. Engine bay is done. Replacing all the lines and upgrading the wiring before I drop the new motor in.
  22. Details please Sir. Sourced, How the fan shroud fits etc…. thanks
  23. Some sort of rubber conditioner. Not Armoral. Do some research and you will find something that conditions rubber.
  24. @the_tool_manI have a relatively new Bosch FPR mated up to my 78 fuel rail with rebuilt injectors if you’re interested. The run time is less than 10 hours. Brought my car back to factory specs and decided to go a different route. The system was removed when I sent the engine to Datsun Spirit. If your interested send me a PM.
