  1. No, they were not painted.
  2. Hey thanks. I actually learned something and gained a resource from the "Parts Code" link. I don't understand why there are so many illustration pages for the same systems (ie: say rear suspension). For me, the service dates are very late. What is the publication date on the originals? Great effort, though. Hat's off.
  3. Pardon me for stealing this thread, but I have pictures of the spark plug wire design for 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972. I could see how to make a screen for this and print this on a spark plug wire set. It would look original. No one would ever notice if you missed some detail. Time consuming, and thus, expensive. Again apologies for horning in on the battery cable thread. I have a cable set, old original in good shape, and the reproduction set.
  4. 26th has white paint marks on the shock struts and springs. Deliberate paint swabs of thick white paint with runs. Circles with a run on the front tubes and a 's' swipe under the lower spring mount rear tubes. The rear springs have a wide band on the second lower coil and a thin white, opposite side, third coil down. The lower wide band, a good 3", faces outboard. The front springs have red over blue stripes on the left and white over blue on the right.
  5. The 1975 Road & Track road test lists the 280Z four speed as doing 119 mph at 5700 rpm.
  6. It is a very interesting and novel approach to publishing a car. I see this sometimes on BAT when someone has a professional photographer document a car. When lighting, composition, and detail are considered. Every little detail and well composed overall images. Very well done. The slip-sheet that comes with the book says that the publisher plans to do other cars in the future. I notice several differences with your selection of finishes, Kats. I noticed the struts first. I DO like the look.
  7. Yes. You should be able to find a translate button for 'world shopping' and order through the site. World shopping will send you a series of e-mails to confirm ordering and shipping. There will be a second payment for tariffs before it is shipped. As I recall, the tariff was about as much as the book itself. Be patient. It will arrive. The book is well worth it.
  8. Kats, The book finally arrived! Delivered on a Sunday afternoon in a well packaged protective box. What a lovely book. You must be very proud. Great pictures. Very nice editing. The quality is superb. Chris
  9. Hey thanks, Kats! I just ordered the book. Will be a pleasure to add it to my library.
  10. Headlight housings with the wiring and adj. hardware? What kind of shape are they in?
  11. I have only a copy. Have never seen a publication like this one. What's the date of publication; perhaps on the back cover? Have no idea what its worth.
  12. I'm really impressed with the carburetor set-up. That's a very valuable car, and with some provenance, perhaps? That should be worth at least one year of med school!
  13. Kinda makes me gag to look at the pictures. Is that Bat or Bird...patina?
  14. Pretty car. The dash is cracked.
